How to get rid of PESTS inside the house?

has anyone of you here may alam ng company for termites control effectively and destroy them permanently? we have tried one company before kaya lang effective lang sa simula pero after a year bumabalik na naman. tas it's too expensive pa. --pashare naman po baka may alam kayo.. tia

Ants ang major problem ko. Kahit naka-tin can yung food (Royal Dansk wafers) aba napasok parin nila. (hindi uber tight yung lid unlike the pirouette ones kasi, pero nakatakip naman). :/

how do you get rid of ants na maliliit na mabaho? yung hindi nangangagat pero pag pinatay mo mabaho yung smell? i tried the chalk pero dedma sila. tia!

We had that problem too. we left and had a relative stay for years in our house. Pagbalik namin ants everywhere na. Magpatong ka lang ng glass or any sweet smelling stuff naglalabasan sila. Nung una we tried spraying baygon pero ilang araw lang ganun na naman. What we did was punasan lahat, walls, cabinets everything with soapy water with bleach then rinse wipe naman para matanggal yung sabon. siguro naka dalawa or tatlong beses kami na ganun. Ok na ngayon. Ayoko naman kasi magspray lagi ng insecticide.

You can buy glue boards from mall hardwares like ACE/Handy Man. 4 na yun sa isang pack. Lagay mo sa mga areas na dinadaanan nila. Hanggat meron kayo nakikita bili ka pa din para maubos sila, kasi madali sila dumami. I prefer this since mas madali magligpit.

Another way is to get "lason para sa daga" sa mga local hardwares sa palengke or yung ngbebenta ng chicken feeds - alam nila to, trust me. hehe My Grandad prefers this, makaluma. hehe The "lason" looks like lead shavings tpos he mixes these with bagoong (para daw amuy na amoy ng daga) and leaves then under sinks or areas na puntahan ng daga. Pero nakakatakot kasi to lalo kung me pets ka sa bahay or kids. Saka hassle kasi after a few days mangangamoy ang house ng patay na daga.

Do both para sure.

Nakakainis and nakakahiya din, kami naman we love to have friends over. Kahit na malinis ang bahay mo kapag me bubwit di ba nakakahiya pa din. Yung sa amin naman ngka bubwit kasi yung relatives who lived in our house when we left, ngsstock ng food sa room nila and dun kumakain. So nun umalis na sila sa bahay, yung mga "mababait" naglabasan sa room na pinag stay-an nila. Sa kitchen and sala naman ngttry maghanap nang food.

Sa Handy Man ako bumili ng glue boards. Pwede mo gamitin yun sa loob ng bahay - for bubwit. Pero yung sa labas na mga big rats - bumili ka nun sa local hardware. Then halo mo din sa bagoong. Ewan ko na lang, damihan mo.  hehe... (sadista)

Ang problema ko ngayon wasps (putakte) na pabalik balik sa sliding windows namin sa rooms. Haayyy exterminator na ata talaga need ko for this.

Sis, eto ba yung black na mahirap patayin? Yung tipong na fly swatter mo na pero mamya buhay pa pala? Problema ko rin ito minsan. Sabi cucumber, but i havent tried it yet.

I had this problem too. We live on the 18th floor but still have to deal with ant infestation! Our unit is next to the fire exit where the trash ducts are so I think they are coming from outside our unit. Imagine our newly wash towels were infested with ants. I was pregnant at the time and paranoid that the ants would get to the baby so we had a pest control company come in. It worked to get rid of the ants for a time but they kept coming back - especially when the building would have it's monthly pest control spraying! I think the ants just transfer back and forth between sprayings.

I tried using natural remedies instead - bay leaves (didn't work), white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, green tea, etc. They would work but only for a short period of time or until the ants found another path. Imagine one time they infested our telephone and shoes!

One day I found ants in my baby's crib while she was inside! I freaked out and had our maids wipe down the crib, walls, floor, washed all linens etc. They then infested the cotton balls! For probably a week or 2 I had the maids wipe down the entire room twice a day with white vinegar. Outside I used the white chalk as this was most effective. We finally found where the ants were coming from - via our front door! They had a path that circled all the way around our living room, our master's bedroom door, guest bedroom door ending at my baby's room. I put a double coating of white chalk around our front door both inside and out and that seemed to solve the problem. We'll have some ants here and there but never again an infestation. My maids are also diligent in wiping down our walls and floors daily and we never ever leave any food out on the counters or table.

I read an article before, they made an experiment kasi sa US, di daw effective. It may work at some point, pero parang rat poison din, pests are able to adapt.

my husband bought ant-killer sa ace hardware, almost 300 pesos ata, 6 packs yon, nilalagay namin sa mga lugar na daanan ng ants, sa ilalim ng bed para hindi kami akyatin sa bed, sa gilid-gilid, and effective talaga, wala na kaming problem sa ants ngayon, kita talaga namin na patay yung mga ants sa loob nung pack. kasi parang sweet ata yung nasa pack na na-a-attract sila.

Borax/flour/sugar mixture - Di din eto effective sa daga. siguro sa ipis.. especially the german ones

the baygon chalk always works to kill cockroaches.  and if you use it where ants pass through, you'll get rid of them also   :-)
