How to get rid of PESTS inside the house?

Sisters, I'm having a problem with ants inside the house.

I already tried borax and honey on them but failed. Please help

Also if you have any tips on how to get rid of any pests like ants, ipis, daga and other insects inside the house and around it.

^effective pala yung chalk! will buy that later. super dami ng ants dito grabe. pagod na ako magpatay ng ants haha thanks sis!

so si mosquito na lang papatayin ko... hirap lang naka screens na windows kaso natrap naman ata sila sa house.

I have a small garden leading to our sala. may mga huge ants and talagang pumapasok sa house. what i did was spray malathaion all over. it is safe sa plants. I got it from ace. super baho lang ng smell talaga so make sure you all get out of the house when you plan to do this. ginawa ko sya 2x. now wala na talaga ants yung bahay. i also sprayed sa kitchen counter and sa mga gilid where the ants would crawl. careful lang kase lason din yung chemical na to. yung chalk forever reliable din yan sa akin. now we are ant free. 

it is also best not to bring food in the room since yung mga crumbs nahuhulog and baka hindi ma walis agad. better to eat sa dining lang talaga. although hindi natin minsan maiwasan, we should just make sure we get rid of the crumbs right away.

for mosquitoes naman i just spray baygon sa house. close all the windows and we all get out muna while may smell pa. i also use baygon mats sa rooms. so far wala naman kami lamok. and dapat walang stagnant water kase breeding ground talaga yan ng lamok. dapat yung mga screen naka close lagi para walang way para maka pasok yung lamok.

i think the best way to be pest free (ants,rats,cockroach etc) is to always keep the house clean.

mga sis san ba nakakabli nung borax? maganda daw yun gamitin as pest control eh.

cockroach - baygon multi-insect spray.. works kahit di spot on, as long as masprayan yung route ng insects

rats - glue board!  kakadirs lang pag natrap yung daga dun.. hehe binibigay ko sa cat ko para  may toy siya hehe..

It's important to fumigate para maglaho ang mga peste na yan

In our condo, nagfu-fumigate quarterly.

i bought the chalk na mga sis yup ts effective.

eto naman paano naman pag anay!!!! waah natatakot ako kasi me nakita daw yung kasama namin sa house na bahay ng anay dun sa  loob ng bakod namin natatakot ako kasi most of my furnitures are made of wood.

paano ba sila madaling matigok?

malathion din ba effective sa anay?

sis dapat yan angunang check before house construction, ang anay, para matreatment kaagad ang lupa.

i dont use malathion masyadong matapang ang amoy instead i use cymbush available din cia sa ace or handyman, safe din cia sa plants

for the past few days ang naging problema ko naman eh yung daga....hay, kairita....every morning me fiber ng wood dun sa ilalim ng cabinet...lagi na lang akong walis ng walis....

the worst, yung phone cord namin nginatngat din, nakadalawang palit na ako ng cord sa ginagawa nila..naaalarma ako kasi baka yung mga electrical cord naman ang sirain nila mas delikado...

good thing that I read sa ibang group about this mixture, sooo effective...kinabukasan, wala na yung kalat ng wood fiber....this is good also sa ants saka sa roaches...

try this mga sis....

1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 c baking soda

mix niyo lang sila mabuti tapos, lagay niyo sa area kung saan sila dumadaan o tumatambay...

yung sa nilagay ko, i knew they messed with it kasi me mga trace ng pinagdaanan at saka kumonti yung nilagay kong mixture.

pero ingat din baka makain ng pet ninyo...

sis greenpease05, i don't know kung puwede yung malathion sa anay....pero toxic daw talaga yan kaya hanggat maaari wag daw gamitin...

dun sa loob ng cabinet namin sa may store, me mga parang buhangin na brown na buo-buo sa mga wood, anay na nga daw yun, ang ginawa ko naman dun, yung kerosene gas, at saka paint brush....after alisin yung mga buhangin na yun at linisin, i applied kerosene by brushing it sa lahat ng parts ng cabinet wood.....i did that a month ago, so far wala pang trace ngayon ng anay ulit.....

still, am planning to do it maybe quarterly para super sigurado na di babalik yun...

nag try ako ng magmix ng sugar, flour and baking soda..

1st try ko.. nagfiesta yung mga black ants then nanotice ko bigla
konti na lang yung ants dun (feeling ko, nagevacuate somewhere.. hehe)
then naglagay ulet ako ng mix..
aba.. aba.. aba.. at nakifiesta na ang red ants..
nag observe ako.. wow!! feeling nasa chocolate hills.. at nag huhukay ng sugar.. grrr!!

for cockroach, use pandan leaves... put these near places where these things are

for cats, anything citrusy (citrus fruit peelings, the actual fruit/tree) ayaw nila

for daga, don't leave food lying around - rat poison ang best dito.  what i used to do in our old house was put racumin in a muffin/cupcake paper mold, then put cheapy peanut butter on top. rats love peanut butter (yep, more than cheese) that they'll guaranteed to eat these.  they'll be dead in a few days.  yun lang, challenging to look for the dead ones once they start smelling... eek.
