Civil Service Exam

Ako din sis pasend naman ng reviewer/ centers. I'm planning to take CS exam na din ayoko na dito sa work ko.

mga sis, according to the civil service website, october 2014 pa ang next exam date. kailan kaya ang filing ng requirements nila? Gusto ako ipasok ng daddy ko sa government dahil maganda daw mag work sa company dahil stable talaga. retired government employee kasi siya.

Mahirap ba yung exam?

nung nagtake ako constitution lang nireview ko pero kumusta naman, as if marereview ko nga ng buo iyon, and isa pa, hindi na ako halos umabot doon kasi last part na siya ng exam, wala na akong time kaya hinulaan ko na lang

Oct 2010 ata ako nagtake ng for Professional. Kasabayan ba ng exams sa school, I was in my senior year in college. Medyo mababa ata yung rate ko but happy na rin because I passed without reviews, wala pa akong idea kung anong ie-exam! Nakakahiya naman if not, both of my parents work for CSC. Lol.

mga sis, sa mga nakapasa po ano pong ginawa niyong preparation? bumili po ba kayo ng reviewer? saka tips naman pls? i will take the csc exam this october. Lord please kinakabahan na ako now pa lang.

sis milada, try ka lang ng try. ako kasi nakatatlong beses bago makapasa eh. heheh.. iyong unang dalawang kuha ko ngarag ngarag ako eh.

tips maagang gumising. kumain bago ang exam pero wag namang madami. sa gabi ihanda mo na iyong mga dapat mong dalhin sa exam. magsuot ng komportableng damit at syempre magbasa-basa before ng exam. though itong pinakahuli di ko talaga masyadong nagawa. review nyo rin ang math, sa english kasi hirap namang magbasa basa ng dictionary at may mga words na di ko talaga kilala kaya bawi na lang din sa sentence sequencing at iba pang part ng "verbal at analytical exam". review nyo rin iyong general info na nasa dulong part ng reviewer. may ilang questions noon sa reviewer na lumabas din sa exam ko.

sis shegothim, 2nd take ko yung april 6. parang nattrauma na ako. Di kasi talaga ako magaling sa math. Pano ka ngreview?

di ako masyadong nakapagreview eh bale iyong review ko talaga iyong unang araw ko nakuha iyong reviewer mga 2-3 months before the exam then a day before the exam ulit. tapos feelingera ako at akala ko magaling na ako sa math iyon pala nangamote rin ako nung exam na. nalimutan ko kasi kung paano kumuha ng percentage eh marami-rami ring questions na may ganung computation. though sa ibang math questions medyo confident ako, sa english naman ako mababa. palakol nga grade ko sa exam mabuti na lang nakabawi ako sa math, analytical at general info.

I took the CSE last 2007, right after my college graduation and thankfully nakapasa naman without reviewing big time. Night shift pa kasi ako noon sa work.

To college students, I suggest na mag take na kayo while fresh pa ang mga lessons during school days kasi the questions are mostly basic lessons sa school (grammar, math, history, etc). Also, tackle the easy ones first. If you find it hard to answer a particular question, proceed to the next number. Balikan na lang ang mga walang sagot if my time pa.

2nd take ko na to.  first ko 59% lang nakuha ko,

tinanong ko yung friend ko from csc what usually ang laman ng exam kasi my cousin said that she took a different set/s of exam. trice na sya kumuha laglag pa rin. soo sad. sabi nung friend ko (from csc) ginagraph raw yung exam and kung alin yung questions na konti lang yung nakasagot pinagsasama sama yun and yun yung magiging laman ng next exam. i don't know how true since never pa ko nagtake ng civil service, mine is pd 907 kasi, but im planning to try cs prof this october.
