Yung mga nagtake last month, kelan daw irerelease ang results?

Pencil and paper exam ko last October, first week ng December lumabas 'yung results.

so around three weeks ang labas ng result?...

^ 6-7 weeks. Sabi samin nun ng proctor, within a month daw meron na, e hindi naman lol.

Sabi nung college batchmate ko who took the exam last May, 2 hours daw siya sa Math kasi hirap na hirap siya, samantalang nung college kami I remember dropping sa advanced trig tapos siya highest sa class. Di ko alam kung pahumble o exagg lang talaga.

in fairness, ang hirap niya. Puro English at Math... mga 20 items yata ang constitution..20-30 math items then the rest English na. wala pa yatang 5 items ang Filipino. Kung hindi ako pumasa, next time ang ippractice ko ay pagsagot ng mabilis. Nagskip ako sa math kasi mabagal talaga ako magcompute so in the end, may mga 10 math items akong hindi nasagutan so nagshade nalang ako.haha. 150 items total so kung 80% passing grade, not more 30 errors lang. waha! Eh, majority yata ng sagot ko hindi ko sigurado just like my UPCAT. Para siyang entrance exam, kasing level ng UPCAT at ACET so best talagang kunin to pag 18 years old palang o newly grad para fresh pa ang mga pagtake ng mga exams Siguro para sakin, better luck next time. haha

kakakaba,almost 5 years na akong walang practice sa mga exams na yan...lalo na sa MATH?naku kahit fresh grad siguro ako di ko yun malalampasan,....

tips naman po diyan para pumasa sa exam? i really wanted to pass this test.. effective po ba yung mga reviewers? and anong klasend reviewers po kelangan ?

I took the subprof when I was still in college. On the day of the exam, it was raining hard and I was to take the exam in Espana! There was no news of the suspension of the exam on TV/radio so my college friends and I went through. Imagine, while we were in the tricycle going to the school, nakatayo kami sa upuan dahil mataas ang tubig. At dahil baha, lumipat kami sa second floor ng school. The proctors were surprised that many came for the test kahit mukhang bumabagyo na. Fortunately, I passed the test

When I took the prof, I chose the computer test. I used an MSA reviewer because I needed a review on consti. As I remember, there were items na madaling sagutan if you watch/read news often.

Ewan ko ha, but Math was little bit easy when I took the test. Lots of items on the basics lang - ratio, fractions, percentage, etc.  although may mga items na hindi ko masagutan heheh! Consti was hard - ang dami kong hinulaan!

Lucky that I passed both test. Goodluck sa lahat ng mag e-exam!

buti mabilis na ngayon ang result.. oct kasi ako nagtake, january pa lumabas result..


nag-iiba ba exam or nira-ramble lang nila yun items?


sis hindi naman masyado mahirap ang Math.. recalling, mostly algebra lang naman siya..    sa general info part pa ko pinakanahirapan..

Hi po, i just want to ask some tips po regarding the computer aided exam, paano po ba un? Pwedeng balikan yung mga previous items or pag nag next ka na hindi na pwede, sa math part, pwedeng gumamit ng paper?

Yes, hindi masyado mahirap math...mabagal lang talaga ako sumagot kaya hinuli ko yung math part. So around 10 math items and hindi ko natapos, nagshade nalang ako. Kaloko lang ang English, majority di ko sigurado sagot ko :p

nag exam si hubby this morning (CAT) and he passed with a high grade pa!  I'm so proud of him.  Considering, he is puyat, late and hungry. Yun nga lang he won't be able to use it din kasi he is working for a private company na. Nevertheless, he can use it naman in the future.

regarding dun sa CAT exam, baka pwede naman pakitanong kay hubby mo kung paano [textspeak!] CAT type exam, during the exam, pwede ba magskip tapos balikan nalang, how bout sa math part, magbibigay ba sila ng sheet of paper for the computation, thanks...

Hi sis! I took the CAT din so I can answer your queries.

First, you can skip the items, may shortcut keys naman dun sa table kung pano bumalik sa item that you skipped. (They have a mock test din, to help you familiarize with the exam.)

Second, they do give scratch papers. Isa isa lang.  They will give you one muna, pag kinulang pa, you have to raise your hand and ask for another one tapos yung first sheet mo kelangan mong i-surrender. At the end of the exam, you have to surrender the remaining scratch and sign on their list. Failure to do so is considered as cheating.

may  nakaregister na ba ngayon dito sa  CSE-CAT? wala kasi akong makitang link sa website nila.. eh 3:00pm daw nag start..
