from 3pm to 8pm nagtry ako magpareserve ng slot sa link ng CAT exam and kahit minsan hindi ako nakapasok sa link...im not sure kung gumagana talaga yun link (http://excell.csc.gov.ph/ERPO/cat_adv091611.html) kasi puro error message nakukuha ko.

haizt i wanted pa naman kumuha talaga ng civil service. tapos na PPT regs eh next year na yata uli and huli na ito for this year..I'm so devastated

^^dapat sis, 3pm yesterday pa lang inabangan mu na. Kasi in n0t less than 30mins full na yan. At kapag ganyan, nagkoclose na yung link or gumagana yung link either it says the next date for ocars w/c is 3rd m0nday of december pa.

yup, if suma, magna at cum laude ka nung grumaduate no need na to take csc exam.

Mga sis ano ba mas advisable for first timers? CAT or PPT?
Magkaparehas lang din ba ng content ng exam? Or what?
Can somebody enllighten me on this one? Hehe.

mga sis, just a question. sabi ng friend ko basta daw cum laude or may honors ka ng college, you can get the eligibility certificate without taking the exam anymore? is this true? please share your experience. TIA

^yes its true sis. it's the P.D. 907. after graduation, you don't have to do anything. yung university / college mo na ang mag-aasikaso lahat. just go directly to the main CSC office to claim your certificate. actually, ipopost naman din ng CSC sa website nila yung mga unclaimed certificates.

sis, when I took the exam CAT pinili ko kasi mas mabilis makuha yung result. I'm sure pareho lang naman yung coverage ng exam nila, yung mode lang yung magkaiba.

PPT kasi inapplyan ko eh.. Nito ko lang nalaman na may isa pa palang option which is CAT nga.
Accdng to my sister kasi na nagtake na nito ng ilang beses mas naging effective daw sya sa PPT than CAT. Haha. Di ko talaga gets since first timer ako.

^sis time pressured din yung CAT. Dati din before ako mag-apply PPT lang din alam ko. May nag sabi lang na friend ko na may CAT nga. So ayun na lang pinili ko.

Or yung PPT para sa mga computer illiterate? Hehe.

I think para din may choice yung examinees, like your sister meron iba kasi mas effective and comfortable para sa kanila ang PPT.  And yung PPT kasi mas madami makakakuha ng exam. May nabasa ako somewhere, may limit yung CAT na number of examinees na pwede i-accommodate kaya may reservation pa diba.

Di ko pa rin alam till now kung saan lugar ako naka-assign for exam.
Is there any way to know? PPT yung saken

^ the room assignment sis will be sent through email 2 weeks before the exam, that'll on oct 2. but if it happens na you didn't receive anything, call the office where you applied so they can give you the details on what to do. eto sis nabasa ko dun sa paper na binigay kasama nung dapat ipresent upon examination.

hello! mga sis na mag-eexam sa oct. 16, nagreview na ba kayo? bumili ko ng reviewer ko.. grabe, ang hirap naman.. sana sa actual exam, di naman ganun kahirap..

may tanong din pala ako, dun kasi sa application ko ang nailagay ko is single ako. di ko na kasi ginagamit yung married name ko.. saka yung ID ko eh nung single pa din ako. wala kasi ako ID na married name ko ang nakalagay. ok lang kaya yun? sabi ng sister ko baka magkaproblema daw ako..
