me too, i took last april, hoping na makapasa ako.

I took the exam way back 1996.  Nakapasa naman pero sub prof kasi may certain units pang dapat maattain bago ka mag prof exam. 

Nawala na ang certification ko na binigay nila when you pass the exam.  Di rin ako nakapag work sa government. 

Sana makapag exam din ako para sa professional.

Pwede pa bang humabol magpa register para sa exam for october?

hindi ko naman napakinabangan ang certificate ko dito. di naman ako makapasok sa govt. kailangan kasi "kapit" di ba

^ay naku sis, totoo yan! grabe backer system sa gov't. kahit college undergrad ka basta may kapit kuha agad. i have a friend nga who applied sa isang govt office. she's a college grad pero sad to say hindi siya natanggap pero yung isang applicant on the same position na undergrad natanggap kasi may kakilala sa HR.

I took the exam when I already accomplished 72units sa college.
Yung Sub-prof muna since yun ang pwede, that was 2001 ata. CAT yung kinuha kong mode of exam. Sabay sabay yung mga nagtest ng Prof and Sub-prof. 2 lang kami pumasa, ako from the Sub-prof and yung 1 sa Prof. Same day results siya nun.

Last 2008 I took the Prof Exam kaya lang PPT na siya. Humigpit ang CAT eh. I passed din. Grabe ang katabi ko nun, he really smells like alcohol at ang yabang.

Here sa office dami din nagtetest ng CSC Exam, nung ngang April Exam dami nagtest, pero walang pumasa.

Sabi nila mahirap pero for me hindi naman. Hindi rin ako nagreview. Maybe dahil mahilig lang talaga ako magbasa.

The date of examination is on the 17th of October and the deadline of submission of applications is on September 1.

Since Region IV ka, Batangas, Trece Martirez City, Cavite and Lucena City ang covered niyo kaya sa mga areas kung san ka pinakapmalapit  magtetest. Yung filing mo baka sa San Fernando or Quezon City. Basta kung san ka malapit.

i'm a bit intimidated about the fact that less than 20% ang passer last year... so i'm wondering if it's really that hard

sabi naman ng ibang naka-usap ko, like you, hindi daw mahirap

so, i'm a bit confused... same ba ito ng board exams? ganoon ka-rigorous?

or para lamang [textspeak!] national exam ng high school that you only need to be focused?

IMO lang sis I find it easy talaga. Maybe because I really love to read. Yung focused part hindi ako masyado dun nung time na yun.

The first time I took it eh super sakit ng tummy ko, sobrang coke ako nun.

The second time was I lacked sleep the day before, tapos I woke up early for the exam, water lang ininom ko kase baka malate ako, yung katabi ko ang baho baho kase super amoy alak siya and it was raining that day. Eh nag commute lang ako nun.

Basta magbasa ka lang sis. You do not have to be intimidated with the exam itself. Just be aware of the scope of the test and if PPT yung kukunin mo na exam eh dala ka 3 pencils, just to be on the safe side. =)

^san ka ba located sis? kung san ka kase pinakamalapit na regional office dun ka pwede mag-pass ng requirements. if sa manila ka naman eh sa head office kana mag-pass sa quezon city.

Mga sis, ang CAT exam ba dito sa metro manila area sa Main lang ang exam location? or meron din sa Field offices nila?

I took the exam last 2007, nakapasa ako. Sa mga magttake, study about current events.

yup sis! application or reservation through the net. then as i understood it, they will send me through email the schedule of appearance for the actual filing of the form and the payment.
