bakit naman sis? i loved this book. I even gave this to my lolo who's also a super bookworm like me. Palibahasa makakarelate kasi siya eh. hehe.
I find Meyer's series disappointing too. Yung 4th book ni George R. R Martin's Game of Thrones series nawalan ako ng gana,unlike nung first three books non-stop ako.

parang 4 times ko na ata nabasa yung 1st chapter. di ko matuloy tuloy. eto pa lang ang book na never kong natapos. i have this thing pa naman na hindi ako makapagstart ng new book unless i finish the book i'm currently reading. i don't know why. basta ganun ako. i stopped reading books for a while after this (and moved on to blogs. hehe). kasi nga hindi ako makapagmove on since di ko pa siya tapos. i needed to forget that i wasn't done with this pa pala para makapagstart ako ng baong book. hehe.

Really? I actually liked this book. Nagkataon na nabasa ko sya before the Christmas season last year and it was such a nice story for me.

I bought this because I heard many literary people raving about it. My gawd! I never even got through  the first 10 pages. I just don't get it. Perhaps I'm not literary enough

1. The Alchemist by P. Coelho - bestseller daw kasi kaya napabili ako, kaso ehhh inantok ako ang boring.
2. By the River Piedra I Sat and Wept by P. Coelho - ang boring din zzzz...

11 minutes lang talaga yung gusto ko sa mga nabasa ko kay P. Coelho

3. The Doomsday Conspiracy by S. Sheldon - dami ko ng nabasang books ni S. Sheldon, eto yung pinaka hindi ko type. nacornihan ako sa ending tapos parang minadali.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by JR Ward - It got high ratings online pero it doesn't even have a story. It keeps on repeating the scenes for each book. I can't believe this series already have 10 books under it! Seriously, why would anyone read that?

I was disappointed with "Mockingjay", the last installment of the The Hunger Games trilogy. The first two were really good tapos yung third parang war lang para masabi nag-war!

It also reads like a different person wrote it. Sobrang awaited ko pa naman, mega list pa ako sa reservation list sa National Bookstore. Nasayang yung story sa first two books.
