Yes, they're the same. Small ones (10 to 13 inch) are called netbooks.↲I find MSI a great buy. I got a 14widescreen, intel core 2duo for only 27k @ PC CORNER.

laptops are also called as notebook too..

and netbook are the smaller ones, with lower specs and without an optical drive.. usually sizes ranges from 11" to 10"..

i think smaller laptops are called UMPC nowadays..

common error kasi yun "netbook" over "notebook" over "laptop"..

nung bata pa kasi ako, ang tinatawag lang na notebook is yung super liit na parang record book lang na hindi pa colored yung LCD at 2-liner lang that was for taking down notes.

im a happy 10-incher i dont find the need for a bigger NETbook. i'd rather get a laptop if i want anything bigger than 10.

What brand of notebook can you suggest?  I usually use mine for documents, lots of pictures, songs and videos. Please recommend a notebook that is priced reasonably (costing between P20,000-P70,000.)

My laptop is already four years old and it's already almost broken so I need a new one but I want a notebook instead so that it would be easier for me to lug around.

My mini HP has served me well -- I bought it really for travel purposes, not heavy work ha.  Ok for going on-line, checking emails, photo sharing.  BUT I briing a USB with my work data therein, just in case.  Coz when you fnalize your work before sending it out -- easier to audit on a big monitor in the hotel Business Center. 

This AM I bought another HP (yes, I have stopped buying Toshibas) -- the big 16inch HP Pavilion Notebook PC.  I will bring it around -- in MManila where there is a helper or driver to bring it around for me.   I like the big screen.

can i get a notebook within 15-20t price range? my cousin wants one for her birthday and her parents asked me to scout around, but i'm not really a technie. so i thought to get some suggestions here instead. yung tipong value for money, of course with good quality. 


she's just a college student so it would be used mostly for typing, internet, music siguro.

got samsung N130 gift from my hub, however, i need to remove existing OS.. russian language kasi, sabi me na DL daw language pack pero mas ma trabaho compare to remove/install new english OS.

ask ko lang.. lahat ba ng netbook mahina ang sounds? TIA

^depends on what your machine can handle but for netbooks they need to scrimp on something to get whateverelse it needs into that tiny thing so it could be that unless busted yung sound card or low quality speakers.

From Bulacan sis, almost a month ko din yata na apply yun, kasi that time wala silang stock nung phone, then they call me and inoffer nga yang netbook, walang bayad pero additional sya sa monthly bill mo.
