Glad to found this thread. I am also studying Nihonggo. I enrolled in Bridging the Gaps learning center in Katipunan pero i opted the one on one session kase I work at nights. So we meet sa coffee shop before my shift. Sabe nga nila invest on your brains not on gadgets so I took the risk.

Baka gusto nyo siya itry the cost is P10,000 for 15 sessions (1.5 hour per session). I agree medyo costly cya pero hindi ko kase kaya pumunta sa malayo. I'm from Antipolo kase and then I work at nights pa. Btw since one on one cya, I am required to pay the transpo of the sensei. 200 per session so plus 3k cya. I got 5% discount for paying cash. So all good.

Hi ladies. So glad to find this thread.

In case you're interested UP Diliman's Linguistics department offers extra mural classes on Asian Languages (Nihongo is included). I was able to finish Module 1 and 2, but sadly had to drop out 2 meetings short of completing Module 3 due to a conflict in my work schedule (I work 3am-12noon Tuesdays-Saturdays).

Tuition is Php3500 for 10 sessions, class is every Saturday at Palma Hall. No entrance exam or age limit (I had a 70 year old classmate for Module 1 and 2 and two 14 year olds for my Module 2 and 3 classes).

Hi sis. Classes already started for this cycle on May 17. The next one will start on September 20 pa.

Studying in UP is another option for me. I read somewhere that aside from linguistic department, asian center (UP also) offers intermediate japenese lessons as well. Any information?

May Module 4 kaya sa UP this September? Nag Integrated Jap kasi ako (Modules 1-3) last 2012 pa. Gusto ko na ituloy hanggang kaya para sa N3 level test goal ko

N4 level but I'm starting to forget huhu do you guys know any language school na pwede magenroll na hindi nagstastart from the first level? Wanted to study at ncf but to pricey for me. I was thinking of taking a nihongo course in UP but was told that they're using a textbook different from what we used when I was still studying the language.

Sis ayami, nag-aral din ako sa Unmei. Pero it was just a basic course na na-purchase ko sa Ensogo. Sabi nga ni Jen-sensei sayang daw if di ko itutuloy. Ayun nga, hindi ko pa rin naituloy until now. So self-study muna ulit.

^ sayang naman! Patapos na ko mag Intermediate 1, balak ko ituloy agad sa Intermediate 2. Tapos pag kaya ko na, sa July mag JLPT N4 ako.
