@chelsee yung pier halos pwede mong lakarin from sa Manila Cathedral sa Intramuros. Or pwede ka rin sumakay ng jeep na "quiapo-pier".

^sa divisoria sis, sa may ilaya and tabora. super dami dun. yun lang, dadayuhin mo talaga. i think meron din sa market market pero hindi ko sure if kumpleto na dun.

i like sewing too, pero ang makina na meron ako ay yung old singer na dipadyak pa! ang hirap gamitin at isang stitch lang meron.
I am planning to buy brand new, nagwoworry kasi ang dad ko na baka magkaproblema if 2nd hand at hindi naman siya marunong sa mga sewing machines. Yung marami ng stitch, mga up to 10K ang budget. SINGER or BROTHER sana ang gusto ko, meron na po bang nakabili na? Kung meron, ano po ang magandang model [for a beginner, like me] at saan ang branches nila? thanks!

if i were to suggest the brand..mas prefer ko ang singer sewing machine....may branch sila sa divisoria...ive got my brother sewing machine pero di sya kasing tibay ng singer...i sent u pm..

sabi ng friend ko na sub contractor ang gamit daw ng mga factories and ng mga subcon na brand is JUKI, kasi heavy duty daw, pag personal use, baby Juki naman daw tawag. kaya yun binili ko last year baby juki na may motor, so far okay naman....nakagawa ako ng 2 sets curtains, 3 sets bedsheets. ngayon medyo tamad na magtahi hehe....nakatambay na lang sya sa living room namin.

just finished sewing a tutu skirt for my daughter.. she likes it a lot that she danced and danced with it right away.. haha.

hope to be able to buy a decent sewing machine tho.. i am currently using a small machine from my MIL.

^ wow nakakatuwa pag may baby girl sarap tahian ng mga clothes. ako kahit walang girl cute na cute ako sa mga baby bloomers with terno ruffled dress kaya nagtahi ako,kaya nandito nakatambak lang. sa susunod pwede na akong magtinda

. mga blouse ko ako na lang rin nagtatahi.

true yun na juki na brand talaga ang gamit sa garments manufacturing plant,meron din naman ng mga brothers. kaya ako puro juki makina ko. nagwork ako before as ie sa mga well-known branded clothing line. kaya pagbibili ng damit laging check kahit na mamahalin yan.

i ahd my basic lesson months ago--kayang kaya ko ng gumawa ng dresses, nakagawa na ako ng ilang pajama, ng bag, ng skirt, punda ng unan. fulfiling.

Hi to everyone!

I'm a newbie here.

Gusto ko lang po sanang magtanong kung san po ako pwedeng mag-enroll para matuto manahi.

Full time employee po ako pero hilig ko lang talaga ang pananahi. Yung mga binibili kong damit, ako mismo nagrerepair, pero tahi sa kamay lang. Gusto ko sanang bumili ng makina pero for personal use lang po.

sis meeron sa market market sa may ground floor bazaar area...look for carolina's...malapit na yung stall doon or you can go to gaisano i think 3rd floor...may mga fabrics din don at meron din mga sewing items/materials.
