If pang personal use lang naman mga sis, ok na yung portable sewing machine or even yung singer na manual, mas ok nga din coz i believe [textspeak!] mga portable may mga stitches pa sya like zigzag, etc. Sa pier madaming mura but mostly from japan so japanese characters and 110v.

but if you are considering of using it for business, like me. Yung tipong pang heavy duty, dapat talaga yung high-speed sewing machine and preferably Juki, Japan made. I was able to buy mine in Divisoria, P12,000 lang kaya lang Juki made in taiwan, ok naman din. mejo maingay lang.

we'll buy a juki highspeed sewing machine, 2nd hand... we're planning to use it for business too pag marunong na ko...

^sis hindi ako sa pier natuloy bumili. Sa taytay, rizal ako bumili marami din kasi dun. 9500php juki model 8700 yung binili ko.. complete na sya and bago ang motor, table and pedal/clutch.

Ang sabi kasi ng uncle ko, hindi pa raw buo yung sa pier, hiwahiwalay pa yung makina, table, motor etc. Pero di ko lang din sure, sabi nya lang.

meron din po bang may alam sa inyo kung merong specialty store for fabrics sa divisoria? may gusto kasi akong gawin, i will need PUL or waterproof/breathable type na fabric. yet, i don't know if meron sa divisoria nun.

I haven't seen any yet. Kahit yata sa Carolina's. Pero there's a shop in Market Market, sa tabi ng Carolina's puro fat quarters and prints from Japan. Super nice! Sana nga may Cath Kidston prints dito

i want to buy rin a sewing machine. i bought yung handheld lang.... naku na frustrate ako... palpak. sayang, bumili pa naman ako ng fabrics.

mga sis, saan ba yung bilihan sa pier? super wala akong alam dun eh. isa lang ba ang "pier" na tinatawag nila? pag dating ko dun papaano ko malalaman kung saan ang bilihan ng sewing machines? may mga stall ba dun? parang ala cartimar? open ba yun maski sunday? papasama lang kase ako kay hubby and every sunday lang ang free siya. help naman.

also, gusto ko sana yun basic lang tsaka medyo portable yung pwedeng ipatong lang sa table pero yun hindi naman kasing liit nung JML sa SM. Anong tawag sa ganun klaseng sewing machine.

i borrowed my aunt's sewing machine.. enjoy ako sa pananahi ng punda at skirt ng daughter ko kahapon.. i need more fabric and thread para matahi ko na ang favorite ng anak ko.. ang tutu skirt!

btw, tong sewing machine na hiniram ko from my aunt, sa pier din daw to binili wayback early 2000s pa..

go go go sis! Ako nag nagsisimula pa lang gamayin ang pagtimpla ng clutch ng highspeed ko. I've made 4 dresses na, pero not professionally made since beginner pa lang.

Mga sis anong magandang tela for table cloth? Hindi kasi ako familiar sa mga yun... thanks!

marami talagang bilihan sa taytay tungkol sa sewing, isa sa major industry kasi yun dun. May malaking store Rose Mart yata yun, there you can find yung mga kung ano-anong accesories like buttons, zipper etc.. pati yung wooden ruler. Sa tela, if you're a beginner and divisoria is too far from you sa taytay ka na lang din maghanap. May mga por kilo dun, pwedeng pagpraktisan.
