3d, 2n? i'd rather go to Puerto Galera than stay in a resort. there's not much to do there in either splash or city of springs. IMO, pang-overnight lang ang mga resorts.

sa UPLB -- nature tripping, hiking sa peak 1 & 2, the real hot spring where u can boil an egg, etc... mala-bundok na kasi surroundings ng UP.

splash mountain okay lang madaming pools, yung rooms okay lang din nothing to rave about......merong bago yung korean resort I forgot the name, mukhang okay yon kasi bago ang facilities, malapit sa splash mountain, along the highway din

sis, ano ba gusto mo yun tipong kayo lang halos tao sa resort? kasi may favorite resort ako sa los banos. although di siya talaga as in public resort, its actually a clubhouse resort. LAKEWOOD. subdivision siya pero konti pa lang ang nakatira. its right after splash mountain. papasok nga lang so better kung may sasakyan kayo or dpat mag tricycle. (kung tricycle, its another story, saka ko na ielaborate). pero konti lang ang nagpupunta dun. kasi medyo tago yun lugar at di masyado madami nakakaalam pa. it has two pools (kiddie yun isa) then yun rooms 1,5k if im not mistaken. medyo cozy. saka scattered around the resort yun rooms. para siyang mini mini bahay ang hitsura.hehe. di ko alam pano idescribe. hanap ako pictures. i dont think you can cook though, but then kung may sasakyan kayo di yun problema kasi di naman ganon kalayo ang Crossing (kung san may mga fastfood) at Grove (gimik area near uplb).

on UPLB: very serene, mapuno, laidback ang atmosphere. lalo sa freedom park (aka soccer field / oval). people jog there pag mornings, sa hapon may mga naglalaro ng soccer at may dog-walking. outside uplb madami coffeeshops at mga kung anik anik na store. kung may car kayo, must see ang arts center.

on ROCKPOINT: haven't been there.

on SPLASH: di ko type parang ang sikip

OASIS: big pool. maganda din dito. 150 ang entrance the last i checked.

88 SPA: korean. pero mukhang maganda at serene.. di ko pa natry mahal eh. 500 per head.

Rockpoint: pwede na, ok lang. konti lang ang tao dito so parang sa inyo na rin yung lugar. merong rooms na may indoor pool & jacuzzi.

pagbaba mo ng bus, u still have to take a trike, di naman ganun kalayo but for 1st timers, better hire a trike. sa lugar na yun, marami ding resorts na mapagpipilian. nandun din yung Villa Ciesa which is a public pool, konti rin ang pumupunta, pero di yata pwede ang overnight. malaki ang space ng Villa Chiesa, i think they have 4 or 5 pools. Rockpoint only have 2 big pools & 1 kiddie pool. di rin masarap food dito.

last summer our family went to oasis. if you're commuting, baba ka lang sa splash mountain mismo and then nasa loob siya ng compound ng splash mountain. if you are after privacy, this is a better place than splash mountain. masyado kasing matao sa splash. saka mas magaganda rooms sa oasis. then maganda din yung view pag gabi. parang secluded kayo. and para sa number ng guest rooms, super daming pools na pwedeng pagpilian. especially if you have kids with you, you can actually leave them in the pool and just watch them from the veranda. check mo na lang yung room rates sa site nila.

kung overnight kayo, you can actually do a lot of things especially sa LB. actually dumayo pa kami sa palaisdaan sa me bay for our lunch. one jeepney ride lang siya. then you get to see LB pa while travelling. super sarap ng food dun. parang dampa siya minus the pamamalengke. and definitely worth every penny. nawili nga ata yung family ko rito kasi the next day, dun uli kami naglunch! hehe... then nagstroll din kami sa UPLB. ikot ikot lang, tambay. then we went to this vietnamese resto for dinner. phoong ata yung name. basta maliit lang yung place tapos yung cook at may-ari vietnamese talaga. though medyo matagal service kasi siya rin nagluto. pero nakakaaliw kasi masarap at ang homey ng atmosphere.

basta explore ka lang dun.

I personallly don't recommend City of Springs. Di kami nag enjoy tapos usper pricey ng food, eh mga common lang naman. Nagstay lang kami sa room kais may jacuzzi naman because madami din tao sa labas.

from cubao mga 3 hours. from alabang 2 hours.

you can take the cubao bus or taft. sta cruz ang byahe.around 100-110 pesos yata ang fare

if you're coming from alabang, 2 options:
1. bus - swerte kung may sta.cruz, mas madalas kasi ang calamba. if calamba bus (42), baba kayo crossing calamba then sakay kayo ng UP college na jeep or sta.cruz (15). tas say na sa bayan los banos kayo bababa.
2. van - meron sa festival parking lot. sa may goldilocks ang exit.
if calamba route (mas mabilis mapuno) - 60 fare then same instructions as mentioned sa number 1.
if los banos - 75 tell the driver sa may bayan kayo bababa, punta kamo kayo ng city of springs.

madami sis sa pansol at miramonte (sa pansol din to). tabi tabi sila. its like a subdivision na puro private pools.

pwede kayo pumunta na walk in. madami naman nagassist maghanap pero if you want pwede din diretso kayo na lang maghanap. im sure makakakita kayo. make tawad na lang. kasi pag yun mga namamara na nag-aalok ng private pool siyempre may patong pa. 5-6k ok na yun malaki na.

suggestion ko though, sa miramonte. tapat siya ng montevista (you wont miss this kasi along the highway at may giant slide at may max sa harap). magaganda saka ok ang parking.

last year when i inquired,swimming is 500 per head inclusive of locker. accesiblity? totally not a problem sis. kasi along the highway siya at kitang kita. kung di ako nagkakamali nasa boundary ito ng elbi at ng calamba.
