Hi sis sorry ngayon lang ako uli nakapaglogin. Hope I'm not too late. His name is Aris Centeno. Hindi pala sya judge, solemnizing officer lang pala sya per I checked his license naman and pwede sya magkasal. Super galing nya as in lahat ng tao sa venue namin umiiyak. He asked us to have our personal vows pa. Here's his number: 09194026369 :)

hi sis anaramas27.. ask ko lang po kung saan mo na check yung license nung solemnizing officer? TIA

^Hi sis! ako na sasagot hehe! you can check here - http://sois.census.gov.ph/

To other sisses looking for solemnizing officer, you may want to contact Reverend Raul "Jed" Maderazo 09277772555 you can check with him kung available sya.

Suggest nman kayo ng solemnizing officer/reverend na pwedeng magkasal sa venue.. yung mura lang sana. Magkaiba kasi ng religion ni h2b kaya hirapan kami maghanap.

^naku sis, super saglit lang. 1 month siguro. but it will depend on how picky and detailed you are. ako kasi ang concern ko lang is good food and good and sulit drinks. separate kasi yung lunch with family sa dinner and drinks namin with friends and family members who want to drink. so when we passed our requirements sa city hall ng morning, we had lunch na dun sa place na ina-eye ko for the family lunch. so nagustuhan naman ni hubby tapos kinausap na namin yung manager and we paid downpayment na. mura lang naman din. that was a monday tapos tuesday nagdinner naman kami dun sa place na a friend suggested for the dinner and drinks so ok na din for hubby so nagbayad na din for down. after 2 weeks, wedding na namin. ayun marami naman natuwa sa food on both restaurants and super sulit sa drinks. in the end, our friends were ordering cocktails and shots na nag hard drinks just for us to complete the consumable. umuwi lahat ng lasing which is me and my hubby's goal. lol.

sis try mo yung Solemnizing officer namin. he's really great.. halos lahat ng bisita namin naiyak. hehe!

name is Aris Centeno.. as long as you both believe in Jesus e pwede nya kayo ikasal. PM me if you want his details. :D

See photos and rates here. :D

yung medyo matagal lang e yung pagkuha ng license sis. atleast 10days yun. but the rest e mabilis lang naman if you want a simple enough wedding. Pero you have to take into account din yung month, kasi pag dec e baka wala kanang mabook kase fully booked na.

leznupar - sis, do you mean, have the ceremony in the same venue as your reception? if it is, then yes, that is okay. for marriage license requirements, you may want to check this thread: http://www.femalenetwork.com/girltalk/index.php/topic,214552.0.html so as to give you an idea of the requirements of the city hall where you're from in case namention na sa thread. nagva-vary din kasi ang requirements per city hall. happy preps, sis! :)

hi new here too and I find this site very helpful and I want to help as well. I just finished my civil wedding March of this year. This is what I knew of the procedure since I personally attended to all paperworks. First you need all your documents and papers relating to your status original ones and certified true copy if needed. If this is your first marriage, the local civil registrar will ask to see your original birth certificates or your baptismal certificates. Certified copies may be accepted. You need to provide the full name, residence and citizenship of your parents or guardians.
If either of you are not citizens of the Philippines, you have to provide your passport and a certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage. An affidavit in lieu of a certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage may also be accepted. You need to apply first the marriage license @ the Civil Registrar Office at the City hall. You need to personally apply and sign the document. It has 10 days waiting period so probably you'll get it on the 11th day after filling. After getting the document you'll submit it to the officiating officer of your choice. Christian Officiating officer vary prices from 2,500-5,000 if held in their office and additonal fees for location and out of town. If your in a budget you can have it sa office nila to save money. After your wedding they will give you a copy of your marriage contract on security paper. Processing of original copy which you can get from NSO will take 1 month to 3 months. The marriage license cost is minimal only. If you chose a judge to do the wedding you need to have enough time but cheaper than officiating officer. The date of your wedding will be raffled for judge assignment and usually done at the city hall. The city hall to which you will apply is the registered residence of one of the couple. Hope this helps.

hi! anyone tried having their civil wedding aboard a yacht? i saw a deal and it cost 22k for 2hrs. Is it better to have the wedding on the yacht then have the reception at a restaurant or have the wedding and reception on the yacht in 2hrs?

Hi! Newbie here too.  Joined coz I found this thread, which is great! It's nice to see so many others looking for ways to make their civil weddings memorable.  All of my friends kasi went for the church wedding. But since both h2b and I aren't religious, we opted for the civil wedding. Wala na kaming balak magpa-church wedding so I'm really looking to making the civil one memorable. I got a lot of ideas from the previous discussions and mos of my questions have been answered. But I'd just like to get some feedback on this: how did you find your officiating officer?

I've read that you can choose either a judge or a reverend to officiate your ceremony. But usually previous posts indicate na may mga kakilala na kayo when you identified your officiating officer.  What if wala. How did you guys find one? I'm not based in Manila so the names suggested previously are not possible for me. Your inputs would be most appreciated.

I'm on the same boat as you, juls97. I'm very much interested in the answers to your questions.

My fiance and I also prefer a non-religious ceremony and it's been hard to track down an officiant. Kala ko nga in bridal fairs I will get some sort of lead on getting an officiant pero wala. I tried browsing NSO's registered solemnizing officer website but they always list some sort of religious sect plus it doesn't offer you any way of contacting a specific officer. The only thing the website can do for you is if you're already in contact with a solemnizing officer and you want to check if he/she is legitimate.

My next step is when we apply for the marriage license(hopefully tomorrow), to ask around in city hall if they can refer us to an officiant. If that doesn't help us any, the next plan is to just go down to the Hall of Justice in Taguig (where we are getting married) and ask around for a judge who's willing to marry us at our venue.
