KOL!  i think OBTN simply propelled KOL's fanbase.  ikaw ba naman e magka-single na Sex on Fire e.  i actually liked all of the tracks.  even I Want You & Use Somebody.  i like cheese, so shoot me.  wala to sa OBTN, but Taper Jean Girl and Slow Night, So Long are classics.  i love the riffs.

I'm obsessing about Coheed and Cambria, right now.  progressive rock.

By the way, I also love The Killer's newest album and Metallica too. I just became a recent fan of Metallica (I know I'm too late) but I love their newest album especially the song Suicide and Redemption.

I don't know if you can classify Coldplay's music as rock but their newest album is also good.

^ hi sis I used to like Coldplay too but sa latest album nila Viva La Vida pa lang narinig ko. didn't they win Best Rock Album in the recent Grammys (beating KOL hmmp hehe)? pero they said themselves they're not really hard core rockers, more like 'limestone' rockers daw

i still think KOL should have won - but biased ako syempre LOL

^Sis, Coldplay's newest album is really nice. Different from their past albums. Kind of melodic and not the typical rock type nga. More on rhythm sila ngayon.

try comparing their older stuff to death magnetic. i swear it's as though james hettfield hit puberty. his voice was quite different in the older albums!

Coldplay can probably fall under the genre alternative & punk.

i totally love Kings of Leon, lalo na yung Use Somebody and Closer from their OBTN album. Gusto ko din yung Coldplay and U2. galeng galeng nila. For me napaka soulful ng mga songs nila. Lalo na KOL! they rock!
