^That's my concern in booking Thunderbird La Union for my husband's birthday. I really like the place, it's so picturesque but we've experienced staying at Thunderbird Rizal and was greatly disappointed with their food. The hotel pa naman is a bit secluded kaya mahirap lumabas to buy food or eat out. Worry ko sa Thunderbird La Union baka the food is also cr*ppy eh we dont know La Union at all at baka wala kame ibang kaininan. I really wanna take my hubby and daughter there pa naman.

safe but di kagandahan ang tubig. the best pa rin sa san juan compare sa bauang, imo.

planning on going to Thunderbird Poro Point with the bf in replace to Boracay, hesitant kasi ako mag Bora ng tag ulan at least La Union is nearer. ok ba dun dalhin bf ko? kasi first time nya sa Philippines, and i''m on the hunt for a nice place na maiipagmamalaki natin, thanks sa mga sasagot.

^thanks sis, ayoko kasi mag plane and boat pag tag ulan,, so we opted to go to Thunderbird poro point, actually i have been there for tour lang, kaso i don't have idea of the rooms and stuff. we're pretty much set, kaso di ko mapa book yung stay namin ahead of time kasi bf wants it to be a surprise but i think they have promo from oct 16-dec 15 na almost 2k din difference from the original price ng overnight..sana mag fall dun uwi ni bf, anytime from august-december kasi eh.

My fiancée told me before that it was okay there ( waves are not to high compare to other) and I always pass through this place going to san fernando plus they have plenty of inn to stay which is just right in front of the beach.

^based on my experience kasi pag summer minsan ang layo na ng mararating mo hanggang tuhod pa rin ang tubig. calm lang ang dagat pag March to May. nung umuwi kami ng december ang lalaki ng alon, maraming foreigners na nagsu-surf. katakot lang may undertow.

went to Thunderbird Poro Point and we really had a nice time there. we didn't swim in the beach but mostly in their pool which looks so nice too. very relaxing yung place and di crowded and yung gazebo near the beach, dun nag propose si then bf now fiance. about the food, 2 thumbs up naman kay bf, akala ko di sya masasatisfy kasi compare naman sa mga hotels na nstayan na ni fiance sa las vegas. he liked how they made it international kind of buffet set up. definitely coming back there with our parents for a nice vacation. plan din namin dun gawin yung wedding namin dito sa Pinas after our wedding in the US, that's how much we liked our stay there, brings back a lot of memories too.

mga sis, ive been seeing good reviews sa san juan surf beach resort. uestion lang, safe ba dito mag swim ang kids? baka kasi surfing area lang talaga ito e. appreciate your inputs! thanks

Hi mga sis. my balikbayan sister will be joining a surf camp at San Juan this coming April 13 and the camp will be at San Juan Surf Resort.

Sasamahan lang namin sya ni BF but we won't surf... Meron ba mga walking distance na places (budget rooms) sa San Juan Surf Resort? Fully booked na kasi ang standard rooms sa resort, and we just need a place to stay (yung not expensive). Thanks!
