They have a new promo from October to December, asa P5000 pesos, sa nakita kong promo nila meron ng kasamang 15 minute massage and P300 na pang try sa casino nila.

^ sis, sure ka 50pesos lang ang pamasahe from Monumento to SF, La Union? anong sinakyan niyo? kasi if we go to LU, from Cubao to San Juan, nasa 380 ang one way.

^ i think she' is talking about the "monument" - soldiers monument sa La UNion na mismo. Wala kasi sa main road ang thunderbird.

^ LOL sorry, yung pamasahe from Partas in Cubao is P380, ibaba ka sa Monumento sa San Fernando, La Union. From there, pahatid ka lang sa gate P60, then tawag ka nalang sa resort to pick you up.

tagal ko ng gusto pumunta jan sa Thunderbird Resort, kaso wala ako hehe! sabi pwede nga daw mag dine jan as in kain ka lang..tas roam the whole area...ok na nga ako dun eh, hirap lang ata magpunta jan kasi kelangan private vehicle lang ang mga dumadaan going to Poro Point. Hindi po atat pede ang commute..sa mga pupunta jan, baka pwede hehe...i really love to go there...kahit balikan lang makarating [textspeak!] sa place na iyan o kaya naman as a side trip for surfing sa La Union...

^ sis pwede ka naman mag commute eh, mas convenient nga lang kung mag check in ka. Pwede karin kumain sa resto nila. Pricey lang tricycle nila and jeep. Ni charge kami from gate to the hotel ng tig 100 ng asawa ko, sabi sa front desk dapat daw 80 lang yun dalawa na kami, pero sabi nila kung magcheck in ka naman pwede ka na tumawag sa kanila para they can pick you up.

sis paano ka po commute, from where ka po galing? ok na ako sa dining lang, hehe! ok lang kahit mahal pamasahe, hindi hamak na mas affordable naman yun kesa mag check in ka di hehe!

(seiously, hirap kasi mag vl sa work eh, kaya hanggang 1 day lang kaya ko...)

^ sis galing pa kami sa Cubao, sumakay ng Partas, from 4:30AM nakarating kami ng Monumento sa San Fernando La Union ng around 11AM na, di naman kami masyadong na traffic. Tapos from there, sakay ka ng tricycle, 50-60 pesos ang singil to the gate, from the gate sakay ng jeep (medyo not recommended kasi tatagain ka nila) to the hotel, pero pwede ka siguro magpa sundo nalang sa front desk, meron silang service talaga. Actually marami ang nag day tour dun, take pictures, dine sa resto, libot libot. You can also relax sa lobby, comfy ang mga sofas nila.

Sis PinKish_23, hindi ba mahirap umuwi pag gabi na f commute? kasi plan ko daytour lang sana.. then uwi ng around 8pm.. may sasakayan pa kaya ng ganun time if commute lang?

BTW, super pricey ba ang food sa resto nila?

sis, mejo mahal nga, pero ok lang naman...minsan minsan lang naman eh, saka ok naman yung place eh...

@ sis whitebeagle, mukhang gusto mo itry yung surfing ah, (na try mo na ba surfing, di ko pa na try yan, pero balak ko talaga itry yan, kaso nauna wakeboarding hehe...)
pwede rin tas side trip din yung sa Thunder bird resort, kaso hanggang pang 1 day lang ako eh, because of work...whew! sama mo naman ako...hehe!

Hello im staying at Thunderbirds Resort for two days! ang ganda.. linis ng place.. they have VMV toiletries pa kaya sulit na din yung room rate.. sayang lang i didnt get a room with jacuzzi.. fully booked na kase! even saw a wedding here.. sooo romantic!

hi mga sisses!I'm from la union...sa lahat ng nagpost dito feeling ko mas kilala nyo na ang la union kesa sa akin.lol!

I was born in San Fernando,LU tapos lived in San Juan for 15 years....I loved the whole province kasi meron at meron kang iba't ibang mapapasyalan...

most sa mga sisses natin gusto ang San juan since dun talaga maganda mamasyal for surfing.for relaxation and casino naman sa Thunderbird,sa Suyo(bundok na dito) merong falls na kelangang i-hike nyo para marating,pwede mag-camp pag marating mo.maganda dahil virgin falls pa ito(locals lang nakakaalam at ilang mga taga-la union pa lang nakaka-alam nito...

mura lang magstay sa la union(except nga sa Thunderbird since nasa 5star na yata siya-i'm not sure)...food try midway grill...mura lang dito at large ang portions

Well, with their price in that area, it SHOULD be okay. Hindi sila "hotel type" - villa yung rooms - hiwa-hiwalay.
