i think every couple even at their 50's pa..needs marriage counseling..there's more to learn and more to know about your spouse. in counseling it teaches the couple also to re-discover each other..and to make their relationship more exciting and interesting and especially to grow together in love and in God.

i think every couple should have undergone marriage counselings. . it helps them to understand what God designed for us. its called marriage. and He had designed it perfectly for us no matter what the age.

maayos pa yan sis..wag lang daanin sa hiwalayan agad..di naman laging solusyon ang paghihiwalay..sometimes,,sa mga naghihiwalay na mga mag asawa..mas lalo lang nawoworsen ang problem..

pray and more prayers din ang kelangan ng mga magasawa galing sa mga taong katulad mo sis..you are a great friend to them..

My parents are into their late 50's already, and ngayon lang [textspeak!] sobrang nasubok ang marriage nila because of a third party. I'm looking for a marriage counselor din for them. Though I don't think my dad will be open to it.

^^sis yani...normally the counselor will see you individually do each may vent then the 2 of you with the counselor. Good luck!

i have been contemplating in getting some counseling for my relationship with the father of my daughter. we're not married - i'm not the marrying kind but that's a whole different story. Anyway, we have been having some problems and it's mostly because we can't properly communicate with each other. I thought of getting a mediator. I'm just not sure where to get one here in the philippines. sa US, nagkalat. pero dito, parang wala masyado. i prefer kasi na walang religious affiliation. Ayoko kasi na sasabihin lang ako ng hope and pray for the best. If you can recommend somebody you've had experience with, i would greatly appreciate it.

it depends siguro sa counsellor. i think its important for the couple to find a counsellor whom they are both comfortable with sharing their problems. that way, the counselling will be effective and helpful.

i think so. gusto ko nga sana maka-attend kami ni hubby ng counselling eh. Hindi naman lang para sa mga couples na may problem to. Kasi i think it's also one way para ma-clear yung ibang issues at ma-open yung minds ng both sides para mas maging ok nag relationship. =)

gusto ko din magpa counseling to work out with our individual differences. Kung kami lang kasi nag uusap we end up fighting lang.

meron bang ganun? baka psychologist ang hanap mo or marriage counselor na psychologist. but psychologists are not doctors. they dont have doctors degree.

anyway..check your local churches for marriage counselors.
