^meron naman... marami diyan, lalo na sa mga churches... pero meron din pre-wedding seminar na i believe is obligatory sa mga ikakasal...

i do believe that counseling helps a lot only if you are committed to it!

i think depende rin sa couple how open-minded they are about the counselling and kung willing talaga sila mag compromise para mag work yung relationship... i think counselling is just one venue para maka pag air out ng sides nila ang couple with a mediator na magiging objective and would help them better understand and cope with their situation....

mayroon nito, prenuptial counseling ang tawag..we actually went thru this before we married. maraming topic na diniscuss lalo na yung about sex, ang tanong dito kadalasan, hanggang saan ang naabot ninyo? so there.

kami din nag marriage counseling..dapat nga bago talaga nagpapakasal nag papacounsel muna para alam nila ang pagaasawa na pinapasok nila..hindi yung pagtapos ikasal saka palang aalamin..not all naman matututunan mo sa counseling but it really helps a lot in preparing yourself and your partner before getting married.

you may call CEFAM in Ateneo they offer premarital and marital counseling...they also have materials to check whether you're compatible and to discover what you will need to work on.

my husband and I used to attend a "sort of" seminar about marriage. 4 couples kami then there's a video for us to be watched. that video is more of couple's daily lives, expectation, differences, surveys, etc. at the end of each talk on the video, we have to answer some exercises that me and my husband would only discuss about it. so may privacy pa rin from other couples na kasama namin.

it helped din in our relationship because from the 5 years that we've been together, akala ko kilalang kilala ko na husband ko. dun ko nalaman kung ano talaga ang strengths and weaknesses niya.

I think yes as long na willing ang both parties na mag cooperate na ma e work out ang marriage at may acceptance na there's something wrong kasi pag one-sided lang at napilitan lang ang isa useless ang counseling

depends....i've seen friends going through this, mostly dun sa ateneo-led org (forgot the name).... most failed, some had good results....

success rate factors are definitely higher if and only if the two involved parties are willing to go through it and definitely, those who failed laging ang wife lang ang may gusto to go through the counselling process.....

hi sike, i'm from south area, Las Pinas. My husband and I just invited by our kinakapatid to attend to their Marriage Counselling held in Ireneville Subd., Paranaque. Sila ang nagfacilitate. They are members of "Ligaya ng Panginoon" if you are familiar with that. Okay each sessions, so interesting. Where are you in south? If you're interested, I can ask them when would be their next schedule.
