btw, what's the difference between nintendo ds japan and us version?if there's any

IMHO, there are 3 differences...

(1) The language.
(2) The voltage of their chargers. (Japan is 220V and US is 110V)
(3) The color schemes/designs. Some are only exclusive to Japan and/or US.

^^ You can't browse the internet using DS Lite unless you buy the Nintendo DS Browser cartridge which includes some sort of data storage for cookies and internet files that's to be inserted at SLOT-2.

The DS(i), however, can browse the internet but only after downloading the Nintendo DS Browser from the Nintendo Wi-Fi Channel and is only free until October 2009.

Just play games with your DS Lite.

Question lang, my old one came with an R4 pack. Should I get the same one or try EDGE? what's the difference ba? I tried looking for the old thread kaya lang di ko na makita.
Also, what's the difference between US, China and Korean one? Sorry, parang newbie yung question But i'll really appreciate if anyone can help.

I suggest EDGE. It's new and can handle bigger microSD capacities, if you're ever in that sort of gaming. Not much differences on those homebrew items except their interfaces and that R4 came out first.

The most notable difference on the DS Lite that I can say is that the US version has a 110V charger and the China/Korean has the 220V charger. Next is their color selection, US has some colors/designs that China/Korea doesn't have and vice versa. Can't tell about the quality, though. But my DS Lite is US version and is still working fine after almost 3 years despite my attention being directly towards my DS(i) these days.

YUp, but kasamang nahingi yung old one na R4 e. so ngayon i don't have both. The DS lite and gamepack. What's left with me is yung accessories for the guitar hero. Goodluck naman sakin
