which is better EDGE or R4?

I have the EDGE card purchased from a shop in Market!  Market! as introduced by a dear GT friend.  I am delighted with it except for some occasional hang-ups when playing a movie, but that doesn't really bother me much.  But now I need a new one, should i stick to edge or get the R4?

I might try the online shop suggested on Page 1, because they offer PayPal.

^^ R4 is so 2006. Hehe!

Seriously, EDGE is the latest in homebrew firmware. The only difference between the 2 is that R4 can only handle up to 2GB capacity while, if I remember it right, EDGE can handle up to 32GB of mircoSDHC capacity.

i think Edge is better than R4.

chrome-plated heart, is that a DS or DS Lite? You can check the toy sections of Landmark, Rustan's and SM. They should have a gaming section and a DS/DS Lite charger. Please make sure if it's 110v, 220v or autovolt before purchasing.

My neighbor is planning to sell his DS (not sure of the model). I'm planning to buy it. I believe he bought it last year. How much ba ngayon bentahan ng DS for second hand?

I received an exclusive Nintendo Members invitation for tonight's party launching the DSi. The organizers promised a fun event with competitions and  promo items.  Gift bags are available for participants too.  (only in melbourne)

I might go because my little girl is so keen to join even if it's a 10pm onwards event!

kahit super late na yung launch party ng DSi, andaming um-attend.  the black and white DSis were scattered all over the room.  So everybody can have a feel of it.  My daughter tried Kirby on one and then switched to Super Mario on the other.

There were lollies and soda served for free of course.  Merong mga competitions (but we didn't get to join coz my husband needs to go to work in an hour after the party started).  There were freebies in a Nintendo DSi bag which comes in black and white.  The bag contains the following:  A black/white Nintendo DSi Baseball Cap, a current Nintendo magazine issue with freebies inside too, a catalogue, and mints in a white thin Nintendo DSi case (which i find cute!).

When we get into the car, my daughter asked..."can i have MY DSi now?".  Nagkatinginan kami ng asawa ko, because we didn't really plan on getting one because....1. we have two DS Lites (ice blue & coral pink) on board  2.  it's recession beybeh, it's a mortal sin to splurge just because it's the NEW IN thing.

So we had to explain...THAT was a long and heartbreaking explanation because although we can see tears streaming down her face, hers was a quiet disappointment and we didn't get a tantrum at all.  It was simply that, mum & dad can't afford. How sad diba?    

But now I guess she's happy with the loot she's got from the party and most of the time we hear her convincing herself that soon when times get better she's going to get a MATTE BLUE DSi!  (Hello!  she found one from AMAZON.COM!)

^^ WOW! I'm totally jealous you got to experience all of that! (GEEK ALERT! Hehe! )

I heard they wouldn't release the white DSi in the US, instead the blueish one BUT I guess it's still great to keep have more than the usual 2 colors. Though I still prefer Black since it never looks much dirty compared to other colors of the DS.

I do plan to get a DSi even if I have a DS Lite and STILL keep the DS Lite. I still need to play my Guitar Hero games too.

I saw a Yellow Pikachu DS lite unit being sold here in one of the stalls in Market!Market! and my heart leapt out of my chest since I know that's extremely limited edition. So I asked the salesclerk if I could take a look at it. Unfortunately upon closer inspection, it looks really really fake.
