Does anyone tried pimping up their DS?

Like adding stickers or designs to enhance the look of your DS.

I've always got this knack to create a theme for all my gadgets and create that theme design for them.

For my DS, I've created a Megaman Battle Network Progress PET design.

I've based my designs on this device but since my DS is black, I just colored it in a similar way too.

I used the Polycarbonate Casing with Silicon Insert by Dragon and simply, well, inserted the design in-between the casing and the silicon.

I've made a template already so I can create any design I wish. The holes are measured almost accurately. If you noticed I added rubber bumpons that you can buy from a hardware store. This is so the bottom casing won't get scratched or slip off from any surface.

If anybody there has the same casing as mine, mabe I can create a design for you too.

heheh.. grabe i was hooked sa prof. layton, halos natapos ko na pero may onti pang puzzles na hindi.

i love mario but i never in my life was able to finish a mario game.. except luigi's mansion in game cube.. pero si luigi yun e! hahaha...

me and boyfriend are hooked sa apollo justice.  natatawa ako minsan pag i feel i'm so clueless lipat ako sa mario. tpos pag stuck ako sa isang level balik ako sa apollo justice. hehe

You should try downloading new puzzles in Professor Layton. I think/hope they're still offering that. The last puzzle they sent out was October 2008.

You can try Mario Party DS or Super Mario 64 DS. You can't really say you've lived without finishing a single Mario game in your life. Hehe!

For Apollo Justice, or any other Phoenix Wright game in that manner, you should ALWAYS check your evidence from time to time. You'll always have the right evidence and/or contradictions at your disposal.

The fun part is to figure it out.

I still suggest playing the first 3 Phoenix Wright beforehand coz Apollo Justice will have some references to those games and, IMHO, would be harder to appreciate without knowing what they're talking about.

i was able to download Prof.Layton's puzzles 2weeks ago in Galleria.  I was actually just walking and was playing around with the wi-fi thingie that I'm having a hard time deciphering how to configure with my wi-fi at home...(i understand it needs a WEP key) 

talaga meron mga phoenix wright games.. di ko alam. i SHOULD REALLY backread thru all the posts under the DS games. haha...

i haven't played mario party yet.

ooh btw, 2 of my colleagues really want to buy DS lite.. ayaw na nila ng psp hehe. kinukulit ko na bumili para may kalaro din ako... LOL :p

^^ Go download some more puzzles. They're as mind-boggling as the ones you solve during the game.

As for Phoenix Wright, you better catch up.

For your WEP key, just have to figure out the password and you'll be fine.

i have to abstain from any form of contact with my ds for a month, 2 tops, and i just wanted to ask if whether this will lead to ds problems in the near future after i reunite with it again?

I wonder what can make you decide to not play with your DS for a month or two. Sounds serious.

As with any other gadget, non-usage can make the DS lose it's battery charge so if you'll ever use it again after 2 months, plug it in first.

Yeah, it'll be fine. But I do suggest play from time to time, not only for the DS but for you to "cool down" from all that studying.

Thanks ricko! oh no it's better that i don't, because i think if i liberate my ds from it's hiding place in my closet, i won't be able to stop playing it. hehe. it's only for 2 months anyway. nice ds cover design by the way. i can't seem to find silicon or polycarbonate casings for mine here in the US. not that i hate my current one, it's a zip up pouch with mario on the cover. hehe i just wish i had other choices. i miss greenhills

Greenhills is one of the reasons why I don't wanna leave this country. Hehe! Maybe you can ask one of your relatives to send you the Polycarbonate Casing.

where can I have my DS Lite repaired? yung hinge kasi nasira (although meron naman sya silicon protector
.. before okay pa sya, nalalaro naman pero di pwede while lying down. Tapos after sometime ayaw na nya mag on pero pag nilaro mo yung cover nya, nag fi-flick yung green light.. parang may wire ata na naputol

^may warranty pa yung ds lite ko kaya libre na yung installation ng bagong casing.  kaso yung nabili kong casing hindi pala original, cost me P1500    try to find the original casing.  iba talaga pag replacement lang, hindi smooth yung edges nung bago kong casing.  if you know anyone who has an old ds lite yun na lang casing na yun ang gamitin mo.  madaming nagbebenta ng mga sirang ds lite, maybe that will do.

neyvillones, you can try E-YO at greenhills 3rd floor. Maybe they can repair rather than replace your DS shell casing.

I still suggest the polycarbonate casing (it also has a silicon insert) coz it prevents you from opening your DS more than it can handle.
