Still waiting for The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.

I still think the latter's title should still be like in the japanese release: Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor.

^over the long weekend, i finished trace memory, mario party and this old-school side scrolling game about japanese cops whose name escapes me at the moment. ah, good times

Haven't really gone around on that. How was it? Gamespot gave it a 5.5 rating that's why I wasn't so enthusiastic about it.

Heck, the game I'm currently playing, Avalon Code, was also given a 5.5 rating but I'm still pushing through with it. The DNA code scanning/manipulation part is engaging enough. Imagine encountering a tough enemy only to make them weak as a kitten once you've changed their codes. Kinda lame but still fun.

^there we go! yes, Tokyo Beat Down. replay value is actually a little high for me, because games like this are quite nostalgic for me. some people might get bored though, since there isn't much variety (although the camp value is off the wall! i mean, the hair! the clothes! the attitude!)

avalon code? i will check it out. tried pokemon platinum na ba?

^^ Hmmm... lemme try Tokyo Beat Down then. I was a little intruiged by it and I'm glad I got input from you about it.

Avalon Code is engaging and frustrating at the same time but, like I mentioned before, the DNA Code scanning/manipulating is the one that keeps me hooked.

I've played enough Pokemon Diamond before to be not interested in Platinum. I ended up picking berries EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. and miss out on the actual gaming. I believe people like us need games that are fast-paced since we don't have that much luxury in playing games for 2 hours at a time so for a game that requires you to collect berries to feed your pokemon to keep them happy just ruins the experience. I don't regret playing it but I just decided to skip the "special edition" game of Diamond/Pearl once it comes out.

^oh, berries? you know, i totally forgot about those things. i'd plant and never pick! maybe you could ignore that part? i'll let you know how it goes when i get some game time.

what interests me with platinum is that the story isn't the typical one. dunno how the rest of it goes, though

^^ You're Poke-watch would have a Berry Map that shows if the berries you planted has grown already. Still kinda hard to ignore since theyre almost crucial to your pokemon's growth and development. Yeah, weird, huh?

^^ So true. But maybe too much involvement in a game is not such a big deal if the storyline permits it. Like TWEWY, for instance. That's still a game I'd play for hours on end coz the storyline permits me to.

^^ Speaking of involvement, I'm still finishing Avalon Code. But also, another game that grabs me good are the Phoenix Wright games. Can't wait for the spinoff with Miles Edgeworth this time.

Just purchased myself a couple of games from an online seller a while ago.

• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All

These are VERY good, engaging games. If you're ever wondering what it feels like to be in a courtroom drama but never losing yourself to some well-thoughtout humor, try these games out. In fact, there are two (2) more games following these:

• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations
• Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Yeah, the last one has a different protagonist but, I assure you, Phoenix Wright is there too AND you'll eventually find out the "WHYs" when you play the game. I'm totally serious, you should try these out from the first to the last. Heck, there's even a new game coming out (and I've mentioned that already on the previous page) called Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. It's promising to be another good addition to the Ace Attorney series. So before you play this new game, PLEASE try the others first. You'll be grateful you did.
