Regarding the Mario Party, you can still play it one player w/o wifi right?  coz i heard from someone that it won't be fun playing it as one player.

^^ I think I'm the one who mentioned here in the past DS Games thread before that Mario Party DS won't be as much fun when played alone but it's still enjoyable enough to pass the time and train yourself until you can make someone join your game.

You can have up to FOUR (4) players and only using ONE (1) cartridge.

^Agrees with you.  I tried playing that one day and came to that part where the babies and the oldies Mario and Luigi can no longer jump that 4th pipe which was oh sooo far!  I just can't find the trick for that one.  Either I lack the FAST button knowledge or I'm missing something.  Either way...I gave up!

But my husband is having sleepless days (coz he work at night) over the New Super Mario Bros.  It has become his bonding moments with our wee one.

^ roomie, re: animal crossing, i don't know how to get the golden fishing rod also. but as for the golden shovel, you just need to bury a shovel then dig it the following day. you can also bury/plant bells using your golden shovel

oh yes roomie!  i already have that golden shovel. 

i also discovered that you have to complete 40 types of fishes before you can get the golden fishing rod.  ang hirap huh?!  eh kasi yung ibang fish by season eh. 

and this time what i wanted to know is how you get the golden watering  can!  because apparently if you have that, and you cross-breed flowers you can have a golden rose!  bongga diba?!

i've been time traveling with this game and found out that on october 10 (ata) there's an ACORN Festival where you can harvest all the "GOOD" acorns and give it to cornimer (tortimer) and he will give you a prize..mostly mushroom furnitures which aren't for sale at Tom Nook's.  But beware because if you give him rotten ones, he won't like it very much and you'd be in trouble!!!

I don't think this is prohibited because afterall, Nintendo's released the same info in a booklet form as a freebie on their Magazine for FEB issue.

i finally got my hello kitty: big city dreams game. harhar. pambata masyado. ok, unless you're a four year old girl or a die hard hello kitty fan, it's not worth it. i am the latter so i'm really enjoying it harhar. games are quite easy and really entertaining, especially if you're into cutesy stuff. it's a series of all these mini games wherein you earn friendship points that will help hello kitty buy stuff, move from one district to another and ultimately, move from her small apartment to the penthouse. i think it's a good exercise for kids because it teaches them how to manage/budget their friendship points. the games are so cute. cuteness overload talaga si hello kitty kahit kailan harhar. you can make sushi, you help my melody in her boutique, you can help tuxedosam in the restaurant, you can take pictures around the lake, you can ride the rollercoaster and your hello kitty gets to dance with dear daniel. yay! haha.

my only annoyance with the game is that if you use the stylus, it's hard to maneuver hello kitty. so better use the arrow keys.

i just completed the 56 kinds of fish in Animal Crossing: Wild World!!!  YAY!  kinarir ko talaga, alas tres na ng morning ako natutulog for two consecutive days! ha-ha!

but it's kinda fulfilling parang nanalo ng award, tomorrow tortimer will pay me a visit to award my golden fishing rod....

^released na ba sya in the philippines?  because we're on the look out for that one too!  according to one article in oz, late march daw ang release here.  pero wala pa akong nakikita sa shops.

thanks roomie!      now i can concentrate on beautifying the surroundings.  but first let me change my town's flag..di ko feel ang design!  andaming lamok sa dami ng weeds!

im really excited sa part 2 ng Prof. Layton! ang tagal ko tinapos yung part 1 as in nakaka gigil pag di ma solve yung puzzle!

^^ You should be downloading the puzzles to keep you occupied.

Though, I haven't really heard if the 2nd and 3rd parts of Professor Layton will be translated to english. I sure hope so. I thought that game wouldn't be interesting but seeing there's mental challenges AND a storyline, those are what's got me hooked.

^^ I know some people who still play Mario Kart DS with other players through Wi-Fi. It's more fun and enjoyable beating the cr@p out of other people. Hehe!

we were able to play DS to DS with animal crossing! akala ko before kelangan me wi-fi pa.  DS to DS pala ok na!  ang galing!!!  Nag upgrade agad si Tom Nook ng shop nya, now we can play with the salon too...Ang gara ng hairstyles.
