^sis, what cheap is cheap to you? The prices of the hotels will depend on the location and the month you will be travelling. For a 2 star hotel at the center (arr. 1-7) can cost you from EUR90-150 while a 2 star hotel at the outer arrondissements (8-20) can cost EUR70-90.

Staying at the center of Paris during Spring (April-Jun) and Fall (Sep-Oct) will be a little pricey. But if you plan to visit during the summer (Jul-Aug), you can get good deals.

For places to see, backread ka lang because I've already suggested some must-see sights in Paris.

^Kung 5 days ka lang okay na yan basta hindi ka masyado mag shopping. Let's say for your hotel, EUR130/nite plus EUR50-60/meals/day. That leaves you with roughly EUR500 na pang miscelaneous expense mo like metro tickets and museum fees.

my friends gusto rin mag contiki.. but most of the tours daw start ng London, tapos Paris next stop.. does that mean, kelangan nila mag apply ng UK and Schengen visa from the French Embassy? Or pwde sa ibang schengen country sila magapply ng visa?

Yes to the UK visa at the British Embassy. As to the Schengen visa, since it will be a tour and there won't be a main destination that they will be going to they have to apply at the French embassy as it will be the first schengen state na papasukin nila.

Kung ayaw nila mag-apply ng UK visa, they can always join the tour in Paris. Just make advance arrangements with the travel agency offering the tour.

a friend of mine just came from europe and they used contiki tours as well.. super fun daw and people beyond the age bracket <18-35YO> must sign a waiver in case they want to join the trip... kakatawa..

most of the tours start and end in london so they're planning to skip that.. schengen visa na lang apply nila.. kaso yun tour na gusto namin, london ang start tapos paris tapos last 2 countries amsterdam then london! So ang plane ticket nila, manila to paris tapos amsterdam to manila

hi sis.. i checked their website and am very much interested on contiki's london,france, switzerland, rome, italy package. yun na lang muna, since its our first time in europe. just a question, we're a couple traveling, so are we gonna be on a separate room during the whole duration of the trip? where did you book your airfare na mura? thanks sis. im soooooo excited. how much does it cost to apply for shengen visa? which agency did you apply for it? i need your help....

Hi Sis! You can have them arrange the room assignments such that magkasama kayo parati. Ganun yung mga ginawa nung mga nagContiki na group of friends sila or couple. Nung first ko na Contiki I booked the flight with them kasi mura naman and para hindi ko na iisipin pa. The next Contiki I did, ako nagbook ng flight on my own because nakahanap ako ng masmura. Naghanap ako sa Cheaptickets, Expedia, Travelocity, etc. I applied for a Schengen dito sa US kasi dito ako nakatira. The first time I went through an agency recommended by Contiki then the next one ako na kasi for Greece gusto nila personal appearance.

Meron akong mga nabasa sa forum ng Contiki na honeymoon nila is with a Contiki tour. Yung mga iba naming kasama na mga couples nagenjoy naman. Ok to go with Contiki if game kayo to go around with people most of the time. I mean, yung iba sabi nila parang hindi appropriate yung Contiki for Honeymoon kasi medyo konti yung mga quiet and alone time nyo. Pero if ok lang sa inyo yung medyo "crazy fun" vacation highly recommended sya.

We're transiting to asia via London and we have 10 hrs waiting time in London-Heathrow airport. Would you know if we can go outside the airport and pass immigration? We do not have a UK visa. Can we just present our onward boarding pass & say that we'll just tour the city & go back to the airport just in time for our connecting flight? Thanks in advance.

i don't think you can do that ... you'll need a UK visa if you need to pass through immigration and leave airport (assuming you have a Philippine passport ha)

what's the point of buying a Eurail Global pass if i'm going to these locations..Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Florence, Vienna, Prague, Venice, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lucerne and Brussels. if i will still have to pay for overnight trains? or mostly all of the trains i checked seems to have some reservations needed..so will it be more worth it if i would just use budget airlines like easyjet or ryanair? thanks!
