^Twice a week sis kung essense type (sheet mask) pag massage or wash-off three times a week.

Koreans use masks at least twice a week. It's part of their routine talaga.  This is how a typical korean skincare goes:

make-up removal using cleansing oil /cleansing cream--> deep cleansing using washes or gel --> masks (they use either wash off or sheet type masks usually) -->toner  --> essence (concentrated form, also known as serums) --> moisturizer (also know as emulsion or creams). Minsan may night packs pa (overnight masks). Ambusisi noh? But hmmm considering how beautiful their skin are, it must be a good routine to follow!

ganun? magkaiba pa ang serum sa moisturizer? hmm.. hindi naman kaya mag lagkit ako nan pag gising ko sa umaga hehe. well for the sake of beauty ;D

^oo, sis. Magkaiba daw sila pero me, I just put on either serum or moisturizer. Parang too much na sakin both at the same time kasi di naman dry skin ko.

QUESTION: I just started using brtc green tea serum. Why ganun? Parang naging dark face ko. Di naman as in dark,,,parang yung shade ng skin ko nagbrown. Mejo fair-skinned kasi ako eh. Why oh why?

mejo na-hook na din ako sa korean skin care routine.

pero you know what, Korean kasi ang husband ko. at ang sabi nya sa akin, yung mga companies daw ng korean skin care, they just come up with LOTS of skin care / beauty products, minsan nagi-invent ng new beauty product para lumago ang business nila dahil alam nilang ang mga babae, WEAKNESS ang magpaganda. katulad yung nakita ko sa TFS at skin food, im surprised to see such thing as NAIL MOISTURIZER, (pati ba naman kuko, may separate moisturizer? ang creative no?) e samantalang pwede namang kahit anong body lotion naman to moisturize the nails.
shempre pag bibili ka nga naman ng separate toner, emulsion, moisturizer, mask, etc, you give them MORE money (instead of buying a product na all-in-one). they're just good at marketing their products para lalong mabili. yung ibang products na pwede namang "alternative" they make it look super important para gamitin at mabili.

pero in fairness, effective ang marketing strategy nila. napapabili ako kahit hindi mashadong kailangan.

share ko lang ko po.

i just ordered some of my korean cosmetics. mostly missha and a vov balls. i think it might be great for daily wear.
at first i's ignoring it cause it looks to pop for me. especially the packaging with its mostly pink, girlish colors. pero dahil sa mga good review na-entice din ako. im so excited to try missha products.

My friend just arrived from Korea, nagbigay sya ng mga samples ng BB creams, face masks from Etude, Skin Food, TFS. Sabi nya, dun daw kasi sa kanila, generous ang mga SAs magbigay ng free samples kahit na konti lang binili mo.

Yung Innisfree daw na brand nag-buy 1 take 1 daw sa Korea last week. Dami daw nag-hoard nun, siguro mga sellers din na pangbenta.

I love Korean products too! they are effective and nice..I just wish I can know which brands do not do animal testing..hindi na kasi ako bumibili from brands that tests on animals like made by Loreal and procter and gamble..even shiseido cosmetics do tests on animals..so ayun po..does any of you knows which brands are cruelty free? thanks!

sis mystella, how's the sliding pact ng Laneige? okay ba oil control? and does it have matte or dewy finish? thanks :)
