^ for the same illness yun 150k eh talagang mababawasan.. or kahit complication ng isang illness it is treated as 1 illness lang.. your coverage of 150k is replenished for another / different illness not related to the 1st illness / confinement.. hope this helps.. i encountered this nun pinasok ko sa ER then after ilang months eh pinasok ko ang baby kos a hosp for confinement.

YES I know that! But what I'm saying is the portion that was supposedly covered by philhealth, eh they deducted it as well from our total coverage.  Like what I said in my post earlier, my son's first hospitalization was 40k BEFORE[/u] philhealth deduction. Naturally after the philhealth, the leftover amount is smaller. Sabihin na Lang natin out of 40k total, eh 5k covered ng philhealth. So the leftover amount is only 35k. Dapat yun Lang ang ibabawas sa total coverage namin at not 40k

my daughter was enrolled before as dependent sa healthcard ng husband ko. kaso nag-stop na yung card coz lumipat ng company ang husband ko and naghiwalay nga kami. i plan to enroll sana yung anak ko sa healthcard ng company namin. eh nabasa ko sa requirement sa maxicare, dapat within 1 month pagkapanganak sa bata dapat i-enroll na. 3rs old na anak ko eh. pwede kaya yun?

Ask your hr when do they do the renewals and if you can add your kid. Yung dapat na within 1 month from birth only applies for those dependents who were born after the renewal period.

Possible naman to be enrolled in both. Pero Hindi ka puwede mag-claim sa parehong card for the same sickness instance. Let's say your kid was hospitalized (hope it won't happen though) and nag-claim ka sa Medicard, Hindi mo na siya puwede I-claim with maxi care. Tapos let's say your coverage in medicard is only 50k, then your total bill is Php 75k. The leftover 25k Hindi mo puwede I-charge to your maxi care. You cannot combine the coverage for both.

My daughter before had 2 maxi care cards (1 from my company and the other from my husband's). Even I had 2 cards cause I was a declared as a dependent of my husband. My Company's hr said ok lang naman iyon, di ko nga Lang puwedeng gamiting sabay. we ended using more the card from my husband's company cause the benefits/coverage are bigger and better.

-- ay im sorry sis! you should raise this with your HMO.. with my son's confinement amounting to 41k @ st lukes qc Philhealth deducted 6.5k from the total bill.. so dapat hinde nga 41k mabawas sa coverage ko. will raise this issue with our HR & i will update you kung ano mangyari.

Mine is Maxicare. Company benefit. Kakainis lang sa Company namin clinic based. Kaya hindi ko pwede dalhin si baby sa private clinic or clinic ng pedia na naka base sa hospital. Pero ok padin kasi every check up free siya.

pareho tayo sis. clinic based din kaya hassle dahil may malapit na hospital samin pero kailangan pa naming pumunta ng mall para magpacheck up since dun ako nagpapacheck up since nung nabuntis ako.

sis got a new job, Maxicare ang HMO ng company ko. Enroll ko si baby mamaya. Ask ko lang sis saan location niyo? QC area kasi ako, naghahanap ako ng pedia na okay sana na accredited ng Maxicare and like you sis clinic based lang din ang coverage kapag out patient.

ok din ang maxicare, plus dami sila accredited physicians and hosps..5month old daughter ko under maxicare, i pay the premium but 600+ plus not bad compared sa magiging hosptial bill pag sakali.. alam ko meron ang maxicare for individuals.. :) and ok naman so far un pinili nameng pedia under maxicare..

I'm very thankful that my son has Intellicare. Sagot sya ng company ni hubs. My son was recently confined at Makati Med due to Acute Gastroenteritis with Mild dehydration (Diarrhea). Wala kami binayaran except sa ibang requests ko like medical certificate, basin, adaptors para sa kakaibang outlet ng Makati Med.

The bill reached Php32,000 without professional fees pa. Yung room namin was Small Private. 5 days sya naka-confine.
