Wedding Reception Program/Script

need suggestions mga sis.
we'll be having our wedding reception sa beach front and it will start at 6pm.
we want to have fireworks display sana.. but what's the best time kaya?
before grand entrance? mas romantic ba kung pwesto lang kami sa quiet area kung saan kami lang ni h2b ang nandon? (with Photo/Videographer)
after the first dance? (ayaw sana namin yung during the dance coz we want to watch the fireworks too. hehe)
after the toast? any suggestions? TIA!

hmm kung ako I prefer pag patapos na yung event mo, parang yun na yung pinaka grand finale ( if wala kang after party) pag ilagay mo siya habang sumasayaw kayo, and tendency kasi magiging hati ang bisita mo, di nila alam if papanurin ba kayo or the fireworks.

kaso lang pag sa ending yung fireworks, hindi na sya maisasama sa SDE?

how long do wedding receptions usually last? our host kasi has minimum of 3hrs and after that they charge extra.

sis huniebunie... 3 hrs is enough na for the reception program... after party na yun paglagpas ng 3 hours and u dont need the host na nun...

yesss at karamihan pa sa mga yan eat & run nakakainis!!! kaya baka halfway ng program kalahati na lang yung guests.

baka less than 2 hours pwede na sa program, mas nakakabored talaga kapag mahaba ang program. We went to our friend's wedding kasi after 2 hours nabored na halos lahat kaya panay photobooth na lang kami. We want sa wedding namin mas maraming socializing with danceable music since European and western halos mga guests namin.

if you hired am emcee for your big day they would be the one to make the program then approve mo na lang if may gusto ka idagdag or tangalin.

sisteret gemwin21 Thanks :-) yung tribute ko for both my parents nilagay ko na lang sa misal and mentioned them during my speech, very low key but memorable hehe kasi bka [textspeak!] ko kayanin at mag iyakan lang kami sa reception.

just an advice. When choosing your hosts/emcees and your in a budget, just pick someone that knows you and your husband really well. kami, we chose our bestfriends as our hosts. and it went pretty good. kapag di nyo kasi kilala they might sound like a programmed robot pag naghohost, pero syempre there are some na really good and entertaining talga.

Any suggestion for cool and fun games for the wedding? Uso pa ba ang garter game and throw bouquet game ngayon?

^uso pa naman sis. Yung iba may twist pa. si hubby gusto nya yung traditional na throw bouquet paglabas ng church.

^^sa amin sis ang ginawa tinawag lahat ng mga single guys pinagblow sila ng baloon. nilagyan ako ng piring tapos pinakapa sa akin yong mga baloons. pinapili ako kung kanino ang type kong baloon. tapos yong napiling guy pinaupo at pinahawak ng talong. then tinawag ang mga single ladies. pinasayaw sila paikot sa guy...parang trip to jerusalem. pag tumigil ang music mag-uunahan silang humawak sa talong. kung sino ang makahawak sa talong will be eliminated. sa huli pag 2 ladies nalang ang natira ganun parin mag-uunahan parin silang humawak sa talong. pero pag may nakahawak na sa talong..inanounce na kung sino ang nakahawak sa talong sya ang nanalo at sya ang magiging partner ng guy sa garter game.

kami sis couples game na ginawa namin para sa garter game and throw bouquet. basagang itlog! haha! masaya naman.
