Question pala... yung bubbles ussually sa first dance siya dba? Saan pa siya pwede ilagay? Kasi I will have a contemporary dance number and worried ako na baka madulas yung floor. There will some dance number din from relatives din. hahahaha Hindi naman pwedeng sa huli yung first dance.

And anong pwedeng ipalit sa garter toss?

I'm a coordinator.

We make the copies of the program but not distribute them to guests. The people who need them are: the emcee, the banquet manager or captain waiter, the AVP Projector guy, the photographers, the band, the sound system guys, and basically all other suppliers present in the reception. Sometimes even maintenance personnel of the venue because they're the ones we need to cue if there are such instructions as lights off and lights on.

I believe the bubbles will not make the floor madulas, even if it's wood parquet. The first dance is not very long naman. Actually, if you dance to an entire three-minute song, that's long and guests will start fidgeting. Usually just half a song and the bubbles just pop and disappear in mid-air without a trace.

Regarding sa pagiging huli ng first dance, actually, pwede. It's part of the traditions and sometimes the traditions are done right after dinner while the people are digesting their food. Then the fun and games afterward. There's no standard wedding program sequence. I have a couple na first dance kagad after grand entrance. So it's really up to you. It's nice there will be contemporary dance numbers. Your wedding will be loads of fun.

About the garter toss, you can replace it with any parlor game if your guys are up to it. Usually the loser gets the garter, so they try very hard to win. :-)

re bubble machine... you can do it na lang during your grand entrance/ entou entrance.. sa red carpet naman yun.. para hindi madulas yung main stage niyo..

games for garter toss po ba? pwedeng married couples instead of singles ang isali niyo sa games.. sort of compatibility game.. then sa singles, marami ka naman pwedeng mainbentong games to make it more fun...

^^ wow... ikaw na ang malawak ang ideas. hahahaha... ill take note of those things... like ko yung compatible thingy. at least hindi na ako mahihirapang maghanap ng girl na lalagyan ng garter. yung wife nalang. hehe

sis carmichael18 thanks for sharing. you saved the day... yung friend ko kasi kahapon pa ako kinukulit... pilit na pinapahanap ang program nung wedding ko.

share ko na rin yung program nung wedding ko...

since usually galing sa pictorial ang couple (from the church), we opted a grand entrance na diretso na sa first dance... the emcee called our names and asked the guests to welcome us. everybody clapped and may confetti. the guests were asked to be seated. kami ni hubby di na kami umupo, the emcee called the bestman and maid of honor to give their speech and propose the toast. (wine toast) then the emcee proceeded to cake cutting and the dove ceremony... saka lang kami naupo.

ayaw ko kasi sana yung cake cutting and dove kaya that's what my emcee proposed para di masyadong drag ang program.

yun lang. bow!

I'll send you a copy of the program.. kaso I suggest na wala na lang script - kasi it would sound stiff and rehearsed.. mas okay yung impromptu - kaso siyempre kung 1st time di ba? anyway, hindi mo naman kailangan pahabain ang intro ng bawat parts 2-3 sentences would do, just to let the guests know that you're going to this part of the program, and that the mood might change... kasi may up & down parts din yung program..

hello mga sis,

haayyy salamat nahanap ko ang thread na toh....sobrang big help talaga sa akin toh atleast maaayos ko na yong flow ng program ng wed ko at sa april 18 na yon, kahit civil wed lang kasi gusto ko mag-enjoy at maging maayos parin sana lahat. Very simple lang naman kasi at ako lang talaga lahat nagaaayos, masyado na nga ako na stress..thanks for sharing mga sisses, i really appreciate mga post nyo.
