bora last dec 2008 - it was super fun , cause this time its buong family naman, not with the usual friends and kabarkadas....

nung umuwi kami sa pinas! hehe!

pero before that, we went to san francisco! and ang ginawa lang namin dun is kumain ng jollibee at gerry's! haha!  sabik!  matagal na kasi kami di nakauwi sa pinas  

di na nga kami nakapag tourist spots dun. we went to the ghirardelli chocolate factory and super yum!! pero di rin siya ganun ka ganda.

favorite place ko pa rin dito sa US is las vegas! sobrang saya talaga! kung may pera lang ako pupunta ako twice a year! hehe.  minsan actually kasing mahal lang ng boracay ang mga hotels dun. depende lang sa timing. mas mahal pa nga boracay!

tapos pwede ka talaga mag tipid dun! tingin tingin ka lang (like me hehe) sa giant aquarium etc nila, nakakaaliw na. d naman ako mahilig sa casino.  hanggang sa penny slot machines lang ako! $0.01 lang yun per hatak ha!  sabi ko ang limit ko $2 lang! hehe! o d ba ang kuripot ko! pero naka isang oras din yata ako sa $2.  masaya talaga dun and ang daming choices ng food na d naman super mahal

Last january 17 and 18, I want to Morong, Bataan with my bf. I found thise really nice place online called Padisamorong (http://www.padisamorong.com/).

I must say, it was one of the most memorable weekend getaway I had. The sunset was so enigmatic, and the private beach house where we stayed was so beautiful and relaxing. It felt so comfortable like my own house.

My bf said we'll go there again since I seem to have enjoyed that trip. Now I can't wait to go back there.

My kids loved the weather! We went to KOGA (Ibaraki), ROPPONGI, YOKOHAMA, NASU, CHIBA, IKEBUKURO, GINZA etc...
 
The kids especially loved Disneyland and Nasu (they had fun playing in the snow!

Cebu-Bohol from Jan 15-19 2009
We had a quick day tour in Bohol and I squeezed a 1.5 hr swimming in Panglao after Chocolate hills, Tarsier visit, Loboc river  cruise lunch, butterfly sanctuary, baclayon church and hanging bridge. It was a heck of a day and then off to cebu to join the crowded Sinulog mardi gras. It was great!

Looking forward to my next trip.....

masaya. ang colorful ng dinagyang festival. ang daming tao. ang ganda ng guimaras. nature na nature. merong kamukha ng mount tapyas (coron). nakahawak ng pawikan.

Siagon - Siem Reap

Vietnam is okay.  Lots of European visitors.  We were there in time for the Chinese New Year.  We watched the fireworks display in Pham Ngu Lau. They don't use firecrackers but instead just watch the display in the Saigon River. It's an adventure everytime you cross the streets   food is good. Pho and curry is common in their menu. But you don't have to worry because there are lots of restaurants that serve American dishes.  The only fast food chain we saw is KFC. Shopping isn't that great because if sellers would find out that you're not a local, price given would be double. good thing was that we came back during Chinese new year. everything was on sale but shopping in Cambodia's still cheaper.

Sieam Reap - Lots of Caucasians in the city. Angkor [textspeak!] is really majestic.  One has to make sure to bring scarf, umbrella or a hat.  Food in the sidewalk is okay, i wouldn't recommend ordering shakes though.  The handling is not good. If you want something to drink, order something in can. When shopping, one has to haggle half the price. Weather is like the Philippines.

Overall, I enjoyed our trip. We should bring backpacks next time though

January 18-19 - Hundred Islands, Pangasinan

Super saya, nag island hopping lang ako with my friends. Sobrang bait pa ni kuya boyet (owner of the transient room) and sila kuya albert and robin (mga bangkero)

Manila before and after Christmas:  it was great!  It is heaven for shoppers!

Christmas in Negros Occ:  a bittersweet experience.  It was wonderful to see old friends and playmates and I was sad that the place has deteriorated so fast. On a lighter note, it was a food-laden trip!

New Year in Boracay:  horrid!  It was chilly.  It rained.  There were puddles, I couldn't even wear my maxi-dress! The water was uninvitingly cold.

Malacca, Malaysia yesterday. Biglaang day trip with my friends. nagtext sila 8:30 pm the night before na magkita daw ng 6:30 am the next day. ako naman na kaladkarin, ayun go agad! 

Malacca is nice. kaya lang papunta dun, we rode the bus from hell. the driver didn't seem to know where he was going or he got lost, basta what was supposed to be a 3 hour trip turned to 5 with a non-working aircon pa. puro fan setting lang, tapos ang dumi pa ng bus nya. ang dugyot namin pagkatapos ng 5 hours. hell on wheels ever.

i wish we could have spent more time in Malacca though. nagmamadali kami para umabot sa last trip pabalik.

Sumakay pala kami nung sinakyan ni Jericho and Carmen Soo dun sa Kahit Isang Saglit. yung tricycle na maraming borloloy na flowers.

Mid-November. Guam. It was really hot there---almost the same temperature as Philippines. The beaches and the mountains were very scenic. And it was fun to shop--got designer bags, wallets and perfumes at cheap prices.

Jan 23 - 26, 2009 - Palawan!

Super enjoy since this is the first trip I celebrated my birthday on an out of town with my two best pals in HS. We've been talking on getting together for years and this is the first time we do an out of town trip na malayo.

I had so much fun!
