bacne (back acne) Medications and prevention 2

hay sumuko na ako.... my last resort---- i had my back chemical-peeled by dr. sixta foronda (6F clinic in makati medical plaza)... after which, she gave me acne lotion to apply every night, along with clindamycin. hopefully!!! will update you in 2 weeks pag nag peel na

Dati may mild bacne ako pero nawala siya nung nagstop akong gumamit ng shampoo, conditioner at soap. I just exfoliate mildly everyday para maalis yung dirt and germs, and I don't smell naman.

You dont use anything? Paano ka naliligo? Tubig lang?

sis angeleigh and yummieyam, yup.. sa medical city lang to nabibili.. pero it is very mild very easy to apply, kasi watery ang consistency nya so parang iniisplash mo lang sa likod mo... no dryness, no peeling.. it just makes your back less sensitive, and dries up pimples.. problem kasi sa ibang gamot sa acne, sobrang nakakadry ng skin, resulting in more pimples.. pero dito, no dryness, para ka lang nagpowder.. mga sis try nyo.. safe to and hassle-free

totoo talaga yun shampoo/ conditioner issue. ako din,. im starting on alcohol rub at salicylic acid sa likod. hay!

I'm a sufferer too!  Sobrang nakakasad talaga coz it keeps coming back.  Mine is maliliit na madami and more worst when it leaves marks!  Sobrang nakakatamad na magmaintain.  Anw, the cheapest and effective solution I've tried was rdl number 3 astringent para magdry out and magpeel.  Haay, forever pimplets but advice lang...dont let it affect you.  Kc eventhough I have this problem nag sleeveless and backless ako.  Bakit ba, e ganun e may sadyan pimple prone!

I think I posted on a previous thread about Sastid bar. 

Active ing.:  Sulfur and Salicylic Acid
Pros:  Antifungal, Antibacterial, Keratolytic (so it will address possible causes of the acne as well as treat and dry up any active spots/pimples)
     :  easy to find - any Mercury or Watson's, PCX - reasonable at about P 200
     : easy to use - use it as your soap.  Lather, leave on for a few minutes, rinse
     : will work within a few days
Cons: Because of the sulfur, it smells bad

If the acne is already clear but the problem is dark spots/ scars, you really need a peeling agent.  If you want them gone fast, a deep TCA peel from the dermatologist is the solution.  If you'd like to DIY and have more patience, you can use the "night cream" for bacne scars from Dra. Rose Gatmaytan (www.caraderme.com), or the Kligman's 4-in-1 purchased online that has been discussed previously.  Some say Dra. Gatmaytan's cream and the Kligman's are identical in effect.  I've only tried Dra.'s cream.  It's messy, but it works.

I actually have sastid bar in my soap dish but i don't use it regularly.  Starting tomorrow yan na talaga gagamitin ko for my bacne.  hope it works...

Just want to share....

This was my problem way back in high school. Since nene pa ko nun at tight ang budget, I opted using medicated soaps - but nothing happened.

When I was in college, I asked for dermatologist's help. She told me to apply toner and a stinking product (maybe it had sulfur) on my back every night, but, to no avail.

When I started working, I switched to another doctor. She peeled my back and advised me to use Benzac AC wash every morning (I'm using this as maintenance). Then voila! I have a flawless skin.

This combo actually works for bacne and body acne in general:
Panoxyl bar 5% (about 300-400) and VMV ID Lotion (600+). Try it!

May body brush galing sa The Body Shop, tapos yun yung ginagamit ko panglinis ng katawan. Hindi naman kumakapit yung amoy galing sa labas. Nagda-dry din kasi talaga yung skin ko kahit anong sabon ang gamit ko.

Tapos yung mga lotion ko sinisigurado kong walang mineral oil/petroleum. Hindi kasi ina-absorb ng balat ko kaya nung minsan na nag-lotion ako na may mineral oil parang may film sa balat ko, eww.

I am using Maxi peel for my back to get rid of the black marks. OMG its soooooo itchy...Halos maiyak ako, parang may bungang araw. Tiis tiis lang talaga...

Dati madami din ako nito pero ngayon halos wala na...todo banlaw lang ang katapat hehe! Inuuna ko na din yung shampoo at conditioner para kung may mapunta man sa likod ko matatanggal pa ng soap. Tsaka nabawasan na rin sya nung moisturizing soap na lagi ang gamit ko, siguro kase di masyado nada-dry skin ko kahit matagal nakatapat likod ko sa shower.

mga sis try niyo mario badescu's special cleansing "O". you can buy this at rustan's essences. 900 plus yung price close to 1k. this product is specifically for body acne. super effective nito for bacne and chest acne. ito lang naka-cure ng bacne ko before. you put this after showering. within a week nawala na bacne ko. i've tried a lot of products like salicylic acid,maxipeel, cleansers and soaps pero eto lang talaga naging effective.

so far medyo nawala na yun breakouts ko pag malapit na menstruation ko thanks to Mario Badescu Cleansing "O" toner. Yan lang pinapahid ko sa bad ko and it works.
