Natuloy na rin sa wakas ang aking travel agency! To the next level na ako, hindi lang home based. Awaiting na lang for business permit pero since may DTI na kami, nakakapag-accredit na rin kami sa mga hotels. Unfortunately, no training yet for abacus and amadeus since need talaga ng business permit dun. So far, in more than 2 weeks of operation, puro online clients pa rin ang merun kami hehe, mahina sa walk in since di pa full blast ang marketing. pero not bad na rin ang net income na 24k within 2 weeks.

still looking for a place para sa travel business.. etoh homebased pa rin and mostly online din ang clients. nakapag-submit narin ng application for amadeus, til now under evaluation parin..

^Tuguegarao City ang head office, pero may mga home satellite kami sa Quezon City and Cabanatuan. Kami din waiting pa sa training ng amadeus, mag-submit pa lang tomorrow yung OM ko. Ikaw sis san ka base?

mahirap sya, especially, nag uumpisa palang kami, pero so far, positive naman lahat at may mga repeat customers na kami..

may question ako regarding BIR filing. since percentage tax ang babayaran naten, how do you issue OR's mga sis? Confused lang ako kase the percentage tax is based on the amount on our receipts. Eh mark up and commission basis lang naman tayo diba? How does it really work?

sabi kase ng mga taga-BIR you issue lang daw the mark up amount eh di naman pede yun sa mga customers lalo na pag corporate account. Wah, panu ba yun?

^sis, di pwedeng mark up lang nasa O.R., ang ibig sabihin lang ng BIR, sa O.R. dapat nakabreakdown yung tax and amount na binayaran sayo. Syempre no need to put pa yung mark up kasi bibigyan mo ng O.R. lalo na kung corporate account. Tapos ikaw depende sayo kung rereport mo lahat yan sa BIR, e kasi naman sa business natin pag wala ka ng benta e as good as wala ka naman talagang kita, ewan ko lang lalo na sa home based malayong masilip ka pa ng BIR, usually yung mga office based yan talaga ang makikita nila.

Sis don sa second page ng receipt, sa copy mo, don ka maglagay ng notes kung magkano don ang service fee mo para kung magfile ka na sa BIR alam nila. If you have bookkeeper alam na din nila ang gagawin bago magfile sa BIR.

Finally, nakapagregister na rin ako ng Travel Agency. Sa ngayon homebased pa lang. We are offering Domestic and International Tour Packages.

nga pala mga sis, i received the contract with amadeus, ang taas na pala nung quota nila 100 segments of international tickets per month or you pay 2,200 a month if you fail to reach the desired quota.

^ganon nga sis. Kaya ako hindi pa ako kumukuha ng amadeus kasi homebased pa ako ngayon. Next month pa kami mag open ng physical office. May ka tie-up naman akong IATA member na travel agency. Sila ang tumutulong sa akin.

Baka po you need an accountant or bookkeeper and someone that  files your taxes for you, we have an accounting office that caters to small offices / stores /businesses. Less sakit ng ulo sa pakikipag-usap sa BIR and other government agencies. You can send me your inquiries via PM. Thanks.

Pwede ba talaga ito? di tayo masisita ng BIR? Kukuha na rin kasi ako ng pwesto eh. Ang hirap ng homebased, parang ayaw na nila kapag nalaman na homebased lang ako :-(

BTW, any idea paano i-apply ang miles ng customer say may free miles na sya and gusto nya i-apply dun sa cost ng ticket nya para mas mababa?

It's official.....hindi na ako homebase!!! Just paid for a small office located outside of our subdivision. Hindi ganun katao dun pero dun lahat dumadaan kapag lalabas sila ng subdivision kaya ok na rin yun pwesto kahit di sya direct sa main road and beside rent is cheap!!!

hi sisses, pangarap ko din itong travel agency business Ask ko lang kung may na-encounter na kayo na exclusivity contract ng mga airlines regarding sa pagbenta ng tickets nila? may travel agency kasi dito sa amin, ang sabi yung PAL daw gusto Pal tickets lang dapat ibenta or i-book nila, tatanggalan sila daw ng rights mag issue ng Pal pag nagbenta sila ng tickets ng ibang airlines. So nagtayo pa ulit yung owners ng another travel agency just to be able to sell cebupac, apx, zest air tickets. How true po ba na may ganito? thanks in advance!

hi sisses di ba mahirap ang packages.  kasi di ba non refundable ang tickets and land arrangement.  tapos kapag daw nacancel ang flight invalid na daw ang land arrangement l. totoo ba yon

1. Pano nabubuo yung mga travel deals sa deal sites? kasi ang mura ng airfare nila if incase. pano yun?
2. San ako pwede mag attend para matuto ng Passport and Visa Processing?
