i have a regular sim and i use the P50 unli for browsing... ito ang sabi sa akin ng hotline when i inquired...

you can still browse unlimited using your regular sim.  PERO,  hindi na sha broadband speed kasi nga,  hindi pang broadband ang sim ko on my e63.  ito ang gamit ko sa trip namin to ilocos early this year. 

mabilis pa din naman sha... kasi WAP naman ang gamit nya.  hindi na halos halata ang difference kung hindi naman mag dodownload mashado.

pa clarify na lang ulit sa hotline kung putting the sim in the USB would make it faster... ang alam ko,  regular wap speed pa din lang...

pa share na lang ng sasabihin ng hotline..

im still looking for the P50 broadband sim. laging kasama sa USB ang nakikita ko eh.  ;-)

There certainly are days when Sun Broadband would test your patience. I often use my broadband within Makati area (in theoffice actually). Most of the time it's fast, but when it's not fast... It's really NOT fast. Parang gusto mo na ihagis laptop/computer mo sa inis. Though I think it's more reliable than Smart or Globe. I got this some time in 2008 with the no lock-in plan (modem + advance 1 month payment).

sad to say, when i first posted here, the service went from okay to bad to worse.

i'm asking for  months worth of refund, kasi wala silang magandang maibigay sakin na reason or a specific turn around time. i'm now scouting for a better inet provider.

^talaga sis? siguro pag nakabili na lang ako ng new laptop saka ako bumili tapos try ko. kasi sa school namin, mabilis yata sila pero yung isa kong classmate, pag nasa loob na kami ng room, hirap na hirap makasagap ng connection.

for prepaid broadband sim, yes you can register, P50=1day unlimited.

sa mga sun shop meron non prepaid broadband sim.

^ sabi nung customer service rep ng Sun sis, may kasama raw dapat na kit pag binili yung sim.

dapat ba nakapasok na yung sim dun sa modem bago itext yan? or pwede rin sa mobile phone ko itext, tapos saka ko ipasok yung sim sa modem?

i read from their website they already have a postpaid plan pala for light users lang. eto yung hinihintay ko eh. i will apply for one later. Its P350 per month for 45 hours, then reloadable as prepaid once the 45 hours are used up. Ngayon kasi i use the P50 unlimited during the weekends. Usually dalawang load ako, saturday to sunday. Then pag kailangan ko ng weekdays nagloload ako ng P10 to P20. So i think mas matipid etong P350 kasi 45 hours na and 1 month validity na. unlike yung P50 na within 24 hours lang, and yung P100 naman na 4 days lang.

sis, yung P350 for light users lang po. If everyday gumagamit ka ng internet for 6 hours, i don't think you can be considered as light user. Ako kasi i don't go online sa house everyday. Minsan lang during weekdays pag may kelangang sagutin and maximum of 1 hour na yun. Pinakamalakas ako during the weekend mga 3 to 4 hours ng sat, same ng sunday tapos nagoonline gaming din kids ko minsan ng weekends. if you are a heavy user, ang bagay sa iyo yung unlimited plan nila. lugi ka sa plan lite talaga

yes dapat naka insert yun sim sa modem before you register for 1day unli for P50.

i agree, i think if like what was said, if more than 6 hours a day, might as well go for unli surfing, P799/month w/o contract yun. kagaya nun sa kin, pina cut ko, pero anytime, pwede ko magpareconnect. hindi na kasi ako babad mag online ngayon because of work.

hmmm... sulit din talaga pag P50... at least yun 24hrs..

sobrang nababagalan ako sa sun broadband recently... unli nga yung P50 mo pero hindi mo masulit dahil page can't be displayed palagi kahit na connected...dati mabilis pero ngayon...sayang ang oras mo dahil wala ka halos mapuntahan. decent lang sya kapag early morning but once nag 11am onwards, wala na...sluggish as in super sluggish na ang speed.

lately ang bagal, as in mabagal ang sun. sayang yung 100 na niload ko, di ko talaga nagamit. kainis!

korek. mabagal talaga except lang kapag umaga. siguro sobrang dami na din ng sun broadband subscribers kaya pumapangit ang connection nila. sana magupgrade sila ng facilities para mabilis pa din connection

Mabagal nga lately. Nakakainis. Sana mamaya okay na kasi wala ako nagagawa kapag tinotopak yung connection.  Other than mornings, the connection's fast for just a few days after paying.

oh my,  balak ko pa naman bumili nito tomorrow kasi may bagong netbook sa bahay. 
anong areas ba kayo based at saan saang lugar ba ninyo pansin na medyo mabagal?  depende ba sa location or all over the metro?
