I had a bad experience with a Shell gas station along Quirino Hiway in Manila.
From Makati kasi going to QC  via Osmeña to  Quirino , walang Petron, so nag pa gas na lang ako sa Shell dahil low na yung gas ko.  A day after ko magpa gas , I noticed na parang nag iba yung takbo ng car ko ( parang pumapalya ) . It's like I when I push on the gas pedal, di masyado tumatakbo . I can feel something is wrong, mga ilang days din na ganoon. So sinagad ko na lang talaga maubos yung gas bago ko magpa gas ulit sa Petron na.

I don't know what happened. Sabi ng friend ko who owns a gas station, baka daw may halong water. Buti na lang di nasira ang car.

i had to read your post again. This is my problem now e. Nagtry ako ng ibang Shell station, aside sa dati kung saan ako ngpapagas. Maliit lang yung station nya. Now, pansin ko mejo lagi namamatayan ng engine tapos may ibang tunog when you press on the gas pedal.

sis sa Shell din ako pero 2 bug stores lang nila yung pinipili ko.. madalas sa Commonwealth then sa Shell sa Fairview na mas mura ng 0.50 minsan 1 pa nga eh..

mas mura ang diesel sa gas mga sis?  If ever na buy ako car dapat yung pang diesel na tama ba?  thanks

^yes sis, cheaper ang diesel..

Anyway i have a friend na nagpa gas sa sea oil, may halo palang water yung ginas sa kanya.. Tumirik sya.. Binalikan nya yung seaoil, binalik sa kanya money nya..

Anyway i trust shell and petron, pero sa lugar namin cheaper ang petron kaya mas lagi ako sa petron..

Petron kame palagi kase we use our bpi petron card. Pero pag cash lang kahit sa shell okay na.  Pansin namin cheaper ang gas sa south - paranaque and alabang.  Lalo na sa tagaytay.  If one peso cheaper ang gas sa alabang compared to qc,sa tagaytay mga 2-peso cheaper pa.  Kaya lagi kame nagpapafull tank pag magtagaytay kame tapos may 3%rebate pa if we use our bpi petron mastercard.

^^ i cant really answer that question, it never happened to me first hand.. But i think maffeel mong may mali after mo magpa gas sa takbo ng sasakyan mo..

waaaah... i think may halong water yung sa petron nung nagpa-gas kami kasi bigla na lang tumirik yung car namin after magpa-gas.  dun mismo sa petron kami na stranded.  we didn't complain because i didn't know naman that time.  hindi ko talaga naisip na may halong water.  ngayon ko lang na-realize.

hi Dacian, i dont think right after fueling your tank with added water will put your car on stop.

The water will sinks first to the bottom of fuel tanks because it is heavier than gasoline. Then water will be sucked into the pump and pushed through the pipes to the engine. This will cause the pipes, hoses and injectors to rust, which can complicate the workings of the car. The car may smoke, start with difficulty, or not start at all. baka may ibang reasons kaya nagstop car nyo like faulty gas pump or something.

Usually sa Shell ako nagpapagas kasi mas maraming Shell gas stations on my way, than Petron.

this is just my observation, sa place namin mas cheaper ang petron o caltex..
pag nagpapa gas ako ng shell parang ang tagal maubos ng gas ko kaysa pag nagpa gas ako ng petron or caltex.. dati ko pa inoobserbahan yun e, same lang naman pinupuntahan ko everyday. anyyway pinapagas ko sa shell is diesel fuel save..
