as for those who live in south areas, dunno if abot pa kayo sa pacita.. but if you do, yung petron (malapit lang sa pnb) dun sa papuntang pacita eh relatively cheaper than other petron stations. sa diesel ah.

if you're lucky enough to have a friend who has a parent na meh koneksyon sa shell/petro/caltex, you might be lucky enough to either get free gas [for a certain amount] or at least half the price of the regular gas or diesel rate. try nyo. i know.. my friend offered me the latter option, pay for half the price of the regular rate. kaya lang heloo, sa sampaloc, manila pa yung gas station. ma-far.

chapest gas is total at ortigas ave corner xavier st. cheaper around P2.00 per lietr, then with addl .50cents off per liter with the promo.

mura nga sa sucat, nagulat ako sa prices when i passed there once.  hindi ko nga lang dinadaanan yan regularly, so i get gas sa Caltex coastal road (the one close to Coastal Mall).  yan ang cheapest na nakita ko. mura din sa Total or Jetti along macapagal, but with Caltex kasi, i get an additional 5%  (or is it 3%, im not sure) rebate when i use my HSBC card.  so additional discounts pa rin.

price as of saturday morning for caltex silver was 34.98.

we buy our gas from caltex (their branches in QC area). cheaper kasi doon ng P2-P3.00 and then, we use our HSBC credit card to get 5% rebate kada full-tank namin nakakadiscount kami ng around P90-P100.

Pareho ang prices ng Silver sa Caltex Coastal Mall and Caltex Sucat Rd.

Price today for Silver was at 36.98php.  Up 2 pesos from last week   May chance daw na tataas ulit next week from .50 to 1.00, according to the news.

Either Petron or Shell.  Wala namang proof na may halo ang gas ng Petron.  I don't think they would ruin their very well established name by doing that.  It could be just some "advertising war".

Usually sa Petron - feel ko kasi maganda tunog ng makina, pero baka naman imagination ko lang. Hehe. Shell naman pag malayo pa ang Petron at paubos na ang gas.

Dati loyal ako sa caltex, kaya lang medyo hindi na maganda yung service nung mga gasoline boys kaya lipat na ako.

I just have a question, ano ba ang difference ng big players sa mga small time na gasoline station? Napapansin ko kasi na medyo malaki ang difference sa price, lalo na at unleaded kami, syempre dun kami sa mas mura, pero may difference ba sa quality ng gas?

^ malaki talaga ang difference sis noh?!  as far as i know, [textspeak!] naman difference sa quality, talagang sa price lang.. yung mga bigtime gas stations kasi ay known na, kaya kahit mataas ang price nila, dami pa din customers.. ako if may madaanan na di sikat na gas station, nagpapagas din ako.. mura kaya..

minsan yung mga ibang dealers lang din naman kasi ang naghahalo. and it's not limited to petron. my sister had a bad experience with a shell station naman.

that's why kami, we're not only loyal to the brand, we're also loyal to the branch/es.

when i still lived in qc banawe area, shell sa retiro or ma clara corner araneta. my sisters still go there up to now.

now that i live in paranaque, shell sucat near bf or shell dona soledad or shell magallanes. yon lang. we don't gas up anywhere else unless mauubos na talaga ang gas, in which case, karga lang ng mga 200 para umabot kami sa preferred branch.

even when we drive to the province, there are gasoline stations along the way that we always stop at, hindi kung saan-saan.
