Hey mga sis! Just got back lang from Boracay last thursday..  :D
I'll share lang my experience with Zest Air last May1-7..
Im a bit disappointed lang beacause both our flights were delayed for 3hours..  >:(
Although, I understand din naman because of the bad weather last Friday, mabuti nga hindi nacancel eh, one of the flights going to Palawan got cancelled that day.. sobrang nashock kami noong inanounce na cancelled nga daw yung flight due to bad weather.. wawa naman yung mga papuntang Palawan that day..  :(
Anyhow, because 3hours delayed nga.. gabi na kami halos nakarating sa island.. sayang naman yung day namin.. kainis..  >:(
Nung pabalik naman kami last May7, nagkataon naman my bagyo dito in Manila & medyo umuulan ulan din in Bora.. At first pa, they wont tell us kung ilang hours madedelay or cancelled na ba.. all they can tell us that time is that there's a 50-50 chance na macancel yung flight.. nakakainis lang coz if that's the case, we better go back to the Island nalang db.. than waste our time in the airport..  after much deliberation, they told us nga na madedelay ng 3hours.. 3hours delayed nanaman..  >:( I dont like Caticlans Airport pa naman coz its so small & mainit.. Buti nalang there's a smoking lounge na there.. last year kasi wala.. napagsarhan nalang kami ng smoking lounge sa sobrang tagal namin nagantay doon.. as usual, we got here at night na.. sobrang lakas pa ng ulan..  >:(
I recognized lang noh.. grabe madelay Zest Air.. Hours & hours.. Tsk, tsk.. Unlike the other Airlines, we noticed that when, may parating na mga bagong passengers, nakakaalis sila kagad.. kame, nandun parin.. kame na ata pinakamatagal na nadelay that day..  >:(
Disappointing lang.. Sobra.. I dont know if Ill blame the weather or the airline eh.. By far, un na ata pinakamatagal na delayed flight na naexperience ko.. I booked there din for our Bohol Trip pa naman.. I hope hindi na maulit..  :'(
Share ko lang din, kasi, we extended one more night kasi, May6 dapat balik namin, morning of May6 na namin nainforom that we wanted to rebook our flight, we thought were going to pay Php560 per head coz that's what we paid din when we rebooked our flights weeks ago.. Instead, they charged us Php1,200 something per head because our flight was on that day narin daw, so, that's considered as no show na daw.. grabeee.. so, we paid Php2,400 something just so we can extend for one more night.. grabeeeee.. ang mahal na ng kinalabasan ng airfare namin all in all.. tsk, tsk..  :'(
Kaya mga sis, if you want to extend, tell them 24hrs before para you'll pay lang the rebooking fee which is Php560.. Kasi If you rebook on the day of your flight, thats considered as no show na pala & you'll pay Php1,200 per head na if you want to rebook..
Im so sad.. because I was expecting a better service from them kesa sa Asian Spirit last year..  :'(
A little tip lang din pala mga sis, if you used someone elses credit card in purchasing your ticket, lets say, your moms or sisters credit card, tapos hindi nyo sila kasama sa flight, dont forget to bring a zerox copy of the credit card used & a valid id.. dahil hahanapin sa inyo yun upon check-in.. If wala kayo nun, they wont let you fly.. that happened to us last year, when they were still Asian Spirit.. we were so pissed kasi ayaw nila kami pasakayin!  >:( what we did is, we bought new tickets nalang ulit using our own credit card na.. Imagine all the hassle that we went through that day.. tsk, tsk.. Taht happened also to one of the passengers last May7.. they wont let the girl in.. eh credit card ng dad nya ginamit.. eh foreigner pa naman.. galit na galit yung girl sobra.. she purchased a new ticket nalang din.. Hassle..  >:(
Apparently, Zest Air lang may ganitong policy eh.. na kelangan may zerox copy of the credit card used & valid id of the credit card owner if hindi own credit card ginamit in purchasing.. kaya mga sis.. piece of advice lang.. bouble check everything.. kung pwede lang, check nyo palagi flights nyo & kung ano man kelangan.. mahirap mabadtrip while youre on vacation..  ;D

actually sis lahat ng airline ganun ang policy na kung hindi sayo yung CC na ginmit mo, you have to present a photocopy of the CC and a valid ID of the CC holder :)

^^sis mas maganda pa ang naging kapalaran mo sa zest air unlike nung nangyari sakin sa cebupac, at least sa yo, kahit delayed ng 3hours ang flight, hindi nacancel, yung sa cebupac, after mong maghintay ng ilang oras sa airport, last minute na nila sasabihin na cancel ang flight due to aircraft technical problema daw  >:(. mas katanggap tanggap pa kung dahil sa weather condition.  kaya nga next time, i will try naman ang zest air, nakakadala na sumakay sa cebupac, mas mura pa ang airfare nila ngayon..   :)

Kami 2 hours delayed ang flight last April, pero maganda ang weather nun. sobrang badtrip din kami nun kasi sayang yung oras eh. pero bawi naman sila nung pauwi kami kasi on time sila.

kittykat ah really? thats odd.. sa lahat ng nakwentuhan ko about it, sabi nila hindi daw ganon sa ibang airline.. i dont remember din having problems in the past with that kind of process.. with Zest Air lang..  ??? oh well.. charge to experience nalang.. i know better now.. sana lang mas gumanda pa service nila.. sayang din kasi yung low rates nila eh..  ;)

babyseth shocks! hassle nga yun sis.. tsk, tsk.. we asked before if paano malalaman if delayed yung flight mo, sabi ng friend ko na flight attendant, kapag may delayed na flight on the first flights of the day, definitely delayed na daw flights for the rest of the day.. it would be better daw if you call the airline & ask them if may delayed na flight earlier for you to have an idea if delayed flight mo or not..  :)

thepinkgirl ur lucky parin sis kahit papano.. on time yung pabalik nyo.. yung isa namin friend na kasama namin last week sinwerte.. nasama sila sa earlier flight dahil maaga sila dumating.. well, sabagay, 4am naman kasi flight nila kaya wala pang delayed flight nun for sure..  :D

surprisingly, my flight to tagbilaran was on time and we even arrived ahead of schedule :)

the plane was full but i guess we just got lucky. there was another flight that got cancelled due to bad weather that day.

JenTheVixen: dapat naman talaga you have a photocopy of the CC and a valid ID. this is a SOP lalo na hindi sa inyo un ginamit na CC. marami kasi ngayon na gumagamit ng iba tapos hindi alam ng CC owner

oo nga sis, napaswerte pa din kami. pero nakakainis pa din yung delay ang flight lalo na kapag yung papunta ka palang, sayang kasi yung unang araw eh.

[textspeak!] ang flight namin pabalik ng manila from catix will be on May 30 kaso nalaman namin na May 31 pa pala yung pinaka-highlight ng program na aatendan namin so we need to go back ng May31.. pwede kaya instead of May 30 eh gawin namin May 31 ang uwi namin?? how much kaya yun additional charge pag ganun???

We went to Boracay via Zest Air (Manila-Caticlan) nung May 16-19. Well, what can I say... Love ko na ang Zest Air!   :D Our flight was safe & smooth, on time, free Zest-O or water on both flights, nice Fa's, maganda & bago yung seats, aircon was good, and most of all cheap ang tickets.

Nung pauwi to Manila, our flight was supposed to be 420pm but we arrived early so they let us ride the next flight na which 330. That's good thing since we don't need to wait long to board. Jampacked ang Caticlan Airport, the smallest airport i've ever seen  :)
