been craving for pad thai this week. ma-try nga dyan sa khao pad...

Had lunch at Khao Pad at Ortigas Home Depot. Nothing great! Not authentic, I expected more from them. Haaayyy.. maybe because mga pinoy lang yung nagluluto kanina? I dunno.

We ordered 2 spring rolls, 4 bagoong rice (we thought single serving lang hindi pala), thai noodles, pad thai, chicken curry, mixed dish (seafood with veggie). We paid PHP1470.

rice was about php160. the rest i cant quite recall but it was the cheapest in the bill

First time to try Som's Thai food last Saturday, although my brother is one of their regular customers.
We ordered the following for pick up: (Bill was a little more than 1000 pesos): 2 orders each of pad thai, red chicken curry, shrimp paste pork, binagoongan rice, and garlic pepper shrimp. Medyo maliit lang ang shrimp but 5 shrimp/order for 120 pesos lang naman so sulit pa rin.
Sarap and dami ng servings nila pala. The binagoongan rice was a meal in itself with scrambled egg, pork, and green mango strips. Kala ko kasi rice lang. 
Sulit for me. Dami pa left overs (8 kami lahat kumain).
My ever critical hubby loved the red curry chicken. Saturdays should be Thai night na daw.

went to Festival Mall ulit today after such a long time.. dati meron dun yummy thai resto called SIAM TASTE.. hinahanap ko kanina, wala na parang napalitan na coz yung dati nyang area, Tia Maria's na.

mga sis, ask ko lang san makakabili nun clear soup na tulad ng binebenta sa mga streets in bangkok(i forgot the name kasi eh)? clear soup with madaming kung ano ano na laman plus un toppings is the lechon kawali? ang sarap kasi nun hehe....tagal ko na hanap nun promise! sa soms or khao pad kaya meron?

Tried myThai yesterday, ordered tom yum, pad thai shrimp, sticky rice with mango all for 700pesos.

Hayyyy i have been wanting to try SOMS kaso I just cant find the perfect timing. I hope to try soms soon and I hope it wont be a disappointment

The best thai food i've ever tasted is  Dusit Thani's Benjarong Restaurant. Their specialties include Pad Thai Gung (Stir-fried Noodle with Prawns, Beancurd, Egg and Beansprouts) cooked right in front of you. You should also try the Yam Som O (Pomelo Salad) and Tord Man Gung (Shrimp Cakes)  Pla salmon choo chee (salmon fish topped with thick red curry sauce), spaghetti sauce tom kha gung (spaghetti sauce with prawn in coconut milk) and phad macaroni gung (stir–fried macaroni with prawn). I love their Sunday crossover brunch where u get to try the best Thai (Benjarong), Japanese (UMU) and Italian Cuisine (Tosca) and continental buffet in Basix.

I used to eat at Ayutthaya. Nagsara na yung SM Fairview branch nila. Lilipat daw ng Moa. I love their food.
