Bacon!

I like the Mr. Cuapao bacon. It has no chemicals. It used to have a stall in Tiendesitas, sa may mga fruits. Kaso last time I went (Christmas season), wala na.

Sarap noon, pati iyong binebenta nilang bread na parang siopao.

sa baba daw divi mall meron mga bacon na P150 / kilo. Natikman ko na sarap naman tipid pa!

i love bacon also, especially kapag partner nya yung garlic fried rice. usually we buy purefoods honey cured.

Wala na nga eh. I even googled it, iyong Tiendesitas branch lang ang lumabas (or baka di lang ako masyadong magaling mag-search?). Miss ko na iyon Mr. Cuapao.

i love bacon! i always buy LEAN bacon. sometimes i sprinkle it to my steamed potato, syempre crushed bacon bits na yun.

i also do it to pesto pasta (pesto+parmesan cheese+bacon = HEAVEN!)

^^ sarap talaga pag crispy. i tried yung bacon ng swift. ok siya di sobrang salty.

My childhood favorite Purefoods Honeycured Bacon!  Super favorite ko siya that pinagbabawalan na ako ng mom and boyfriend ko kumain. Pero I don't eat it thtat often. But when I do, I love it fried til crispy and with steamiing fried or steamed rice and sunny side up egg!

My tita used to cure her own bacon.  Super sarap din and very lean. Kaso she has already passed on and I don't think she was able to leave the recipe to her kids.
