purefoods honeycured bacon for me. but nung last grocery ko, i bought king sue and we put it on our homemade pizza, sarap din. di ko lang masyado malasahan kasi maliit yung slices and di toasted. try ko next time i fry lang

i used to buy pampanga's best bacon. yung tig-1kg kasi straight from the supplier pa kaya mas mura... sarap! miss ko na nga yun eh.

mekeni bacon for cheaper alternative --> more malaman but not the candian bacon type

i tried monterey scrap bacon... so much cheaper.. at masarap sya... sa laguna ko sya nabili and naghanap ako [textspeak!] sa manila pero wala ako makita...

i have found out that in some supermarkets meron ng for sale na "purefoods bacon ends and bits"... this is so good for us who loves carbonara....best for salads and for sandwiches din....

at saka i mix it sa fried rice....yummy!

king's for me, pero local brand yata yan dito sa cebu.

i don't fry it, sa microwave ko lang niluluto, lumalabas yung oil nya. tapos you can control the crispiness! sarap! naubos ko isang pack mag-isa. LOL

anyway, tips on cooking them, para di masyado mag crumple while cooking, poke it with a fork before placing it on the hot pan, para daw di masyado mag crumple, di liliit masyado ang bacon
