Love it sa sandwich! Basta dapat toasted.. pag hindi, I don't like it that much
I love love love Santi's bacon. Iba yung pagkacrispy niya and di siya ganun ka-alat. For local bacon, I love purefoods honeycured bacon.
purefoods, swift, hormel, cdo
hindi ko pa na-try yung swift & cdo... anong nakalagay sa packs jane? honeycured din ba or maple or...?
Bawal na bawal na bawal but talaga! I give in to temptation. Purefoods good enough for me! Smoked, honeycured, whatever, I eat. S&R has really good ones in big packs, not so fatty; comes out cheaper.I avoid paying a premium for the bacon at Santi's and Terry's. The only bacon I won't eat is the CDO brand (too fatty, but good for lining meatloafs I also like eating it curly. I do not like putting that heavy cast iron thing on top, while it is frying, to make the strips flat. There is this pasta sauce that my dad and I made up -- EVOO + sliced bacon strips + sliced ripe tomatoes and finally, + talangka aligue. Everybody complains, my husband cringes -- "to die" for daw talaga kasi you will die early nga. But! everybody eats naman, dami reklamo about it being the unhealthiest thing to eat, but eat they do. Oh yeah, we also prep crispy bacon bits to sprinkle on top instead of cheese.
