Re Hand-carry & check-in baggages

uwi na ko sa manila from my 30 day aussie vacation. problema ko yung mga dala ko kasi via cathay, 13 kilos ang maleta ko ang laman lang nun eh mga pasalubong/xmas gifts ko. i have my old clothes seperated, nasa 4kilos yun. tapos yung mga pinamili ko for myself is 3 kilos.

problema ko magooverweight ako for sure kasi bibili pa ko ng roastbeef at chocolates.

20kilos check in and 7 kilos handcarry lang ako.

nagsisisi tuloy ako sana hindi na ko nagdala ng 4 kilos na damit ko dito sa australia.

mga sis pano kayo mag pack sa maleta? kasi the first time i did it, yung mga pasalubong ko naka segregate naka plastic pa sila para paguwi ko eh ididistribute ko na lang. sabi ng aunt ko tangalin ko na sa plastic.

so inayos ko siya, tinangal ko sa plastic then i spread the clothes. mga damit kasi lahat then 2 pairs of shoes. yung shoes nilagyan ko ng t shirt sa loob and wala na ring box.

hi mga sis anyone here been to denmark?
airlines namin going back to manila is qatar, nung galing kami PH going here hindi naman sila mahigpit sa Handcarry, hindi nga nila pina-weigh ang dala namin.
pero not sure lang kung pagbalik ng pinas, airport namin is Copenhagen.
TIA if anyone has any idea? =) if mahigpit sa handcarry/check in weight sa qatar airlines ?

^sis, saan sila manggagaling? Pag galing from Manila, allowed sila ng 2 pcs of checked in baggage per passenger at 23kgs or 25kgs each bag. Depende na lang kung anong airline sasakyan nila from Manila. Total na bagahe nila bale is four pieces. Walang Westjet na airline from Manila to Canada baka domestic na yan.

ok lang naman yun. it doesn't need prescription naman. i went there and dala ko yung anti-hypertension meds for my lolo, dala ko yung prescription just in case maquestion ako...dineclare ko sa immigration card that i have meds pero no questions asked from me naman.

^yes sis you have to declare it pa rin. if they ask, you can tell them its whitening pills for your consumption. i doubt if they will investigate on you further. hindi naman illegal yung dadalhin mo, so no worries hehe.

btw, ma share ko lang sa inyo itong experience ko sa Sydney airport:

pasalubong ko kasi sa mga relatives ko is goldilocks polvoron. naka check in sya sa baggage, then dineclare ko naman may dala akong food. the customs officer asked me if i brought food especially with dairy. i told them yes, and asked me what kind.

i told them "just milk powdered candy" --> referring to polvoron. naisip ko kasi if i use polvoron, they will ask me to explain ano yun...kaya sinabi ko na lang milk powdered candy no questions asked.

no further questions, hindi na pinabukas ang bag ko.

my relatives were surprised na hindi naconfiscate yung items, i told them what i said and they told me that if i say polvoron, alam na daw sa airport yun at kinukuha nila. they joked na gusto ng mga Aussie yun kaya kinukuha. when my relatives came for a vacation sa Pinas at umuwi na sila sa Au, ang dami nilang dalang polvoron at pinaiwan lang sa kanila.

moral of the lesson: don't say the magic word polvoron! hehe

^It really is surprising because dairy products are mostly not allowed to be imported into Australia. Well, some are, depending on where the product came from and how it was prepared, like cakes (specific pa rin, not all) My Australian aunt is here for a vacation (she's here annually) and forever she's been wanting to take home with her our 3-in1 coffees (Nescafe) pero di nga daw allowed. She likes the taste. Nabobore daw sya sa coffee nila sa BNE.

^you're welcome! wag mo ihandcarry sis, check in mo lahat ng food. maganda kasi ang packaging ng goldilocks ngayon, naka box na siya..hindi na siya yung dating naka cellophane lang. very commercialized at hindi na madaling madurog.

Hi! mag ask lang ako about sa baggage ng Cebu Pac for Domestic Flights..

we check in baggage for each passenger na kinuha ko is 15kgs so dalawa kami. since my kasama kaming 1 year old baby naisip namin na i-combine na lang yung baggage namin in one luggage kasi magdadala rin kami ng stroller for our baby so sobrang hassle na kung tig isang luggage pa kami ng dala + handcarry pa..

my question is i-a-allowed kaya yun ng CebuPac? so instead of bringing 2 luggage with 15/kgs each pwede kayang 1 na lang which is 30kgs? i asked AirPhil and they allowed me. baka po my nakakaalam dito pa help naman po..

Question lang po..
Allowed bang maglagay ng 1 to 2 liters of water sa CHECK-IN BAGGAGE?
Boracay trip kasi on Monday & kasama namin baby namin na 17months old lang. my nabasa kasi ako na mahal ang water sa boracay. Kaya we decided na magdala na lang.

confirm ko lang.  we can bring in a foldable/umbrella-type stroller until boarding di ba?  and then kukunin na lang ng crew then we'll just claim the stroller once we land.  tama ba?  as in we don't need to check it in? tia!
