Re Hand-carry & check-in baggages

Mga sis , inform ko kyo. Last Sept10, at T3, ang daming na confiscate na folding umbrella,umapaw ang trash bin nila.Bawal na rin pala kahit small at folding umbrella.

mga sis, il be travelling to UK by oct. no bookings yet. Ask ko lang kung [textspeak!] mag do's and dont's in flying abroad? pwede ba magdala ng more than 100ml na liquid sa check in baggage in an international flight? How about mga meds like alaxan and the likes. Please help! thanks

sa airasia, i was advised na itago kasi bawal daw yun. pero ngayon pati sa T3 bawal na.. lumelevel up.. hihi

^^ liquids more than 100ml ok basta check in baggage. be sure lang na it wont leak.

otc meds are ok. keep them in the original shopping bag like mercury drugstore plastic bag para wag mag duda lalo na kung medyo marami... for prescription meds, be sure to bring your doctor's rx or a certification that you need it.

but make sure you check your airlines' policy when you pack your bags.

comment ko lang regarding sa payong.......nung umuwi kame last year to legazpi,using T3, i have 2 long umbrella with me, hawak ko sa loob ng plane ha..pag uwi namin, di ko na pinachcek in yung umbrella thinking same lang din as before, sinita kame sa Legazpi airport,bawal daw magdala ng payong sa loob, kasi it can be used as a weapon daw.so no choice but to check it in.

yun fins ba e pwedeng hand carry talaga or kelangan icheck in?

ang gulo kasi, yun nakasabay namin sa airport sa coron, pinacheck in sa kanya yun fins. bawal daw i-handcarry. nagulat sya sabi nya sa Manila di naman pinacheck in sa kanya. hand carry lang nya yun bakit daw sa Coron e pinapa check in. palagi naman daw nya hand carry lang yun eversince at kung sakali e yun ang first time nya na iccheck in yun.

yun ang mahirap sa mga airports natin. hindi standard ang policies nila.
minsan papayag sila, minsan hindi. o kaya naman iba-iba reasons sila kung bakit hindi nila ina-allow. dati rin yung tripod ko, hindi inallow i-handcarry kasi metal daw.

if may check-in luggage ka, better ilagay mo na lahat ng pwedeng magkasya dun para d na hassle.

maulan ba that day? baka most T3 employees forgot to bring their own kaya na-confiscate yung mga umbrellas. hehe

i will be flying zest air off to bora. 10kg allowable check in baggage. and another 7 kilos for hand carry. workable ba? sanay kasi ako sa 45kg baggage allowance.

if you will only be there for a couple of days, ok na ok na ang 10kls weight, sobra pa nga yan.

pwede umbrellas kung check in. kaso  go lite kame.umuulan that day pati sa destination namin. yung 2 folding umbrellas namin pinaiwan.

Does cebu pacific allow group baggage allowance for a family traveling together like PAL does?  There are 6 of us in the family and I'm planning on bringing 4 pcs of luggage. One will probably be 22kg and the others 18kg or less.  We won't exceed the total of 90kg for 6 people, but I have no idea if Cebupac has individual bag limits.

^^in my mom's case, she and my daughter went to Phils via CebuPac (from SG), hindi in-allow yung handcarry nila na magkasama sa isang luggage. Ginawa kasi ng mom ko, pinuno na niya yung isang luggage saktong 14kg, para combined na sila ng daughter ko. Pagdating dun counter, di sila pinayagan. Dapat daw tig 7kg ang handcarry. So no choice, lumabas ulit mom ko and we had to transfer some things to other bag. Hassle tuloy sa mom ko, isang luggage at isa pang bag ang bitbit niya.

Napaka inconsiderate, common sense naman na hindi makapagbitbit ng 7kg handcarry yung anak kong 4yo, di pa pinagbigyan.

**EDIT:**^^oops my bad. I re-read your post and you were talking about check in baggage pala. Yung sinasabi ko is regarding handcarry naman hehe

kasama na din kaya yung 1 year 4 months ko na baby sa terminal fee and airport tax or wala pa syang bayad?

And pede bang hand carry ang stroller sa cebu pacific?

guys, ok lang kaya ilagay sa check-in luggage ang laptop??? ayoko kasing may mabigat na hand carry... I'm planning to cushion the laptop naman with bath towels and blankets...
