Hi...
We're planning to go to Australia next month...and i've got a 3 year old and a 7 year old kid with me...

if i case we need to bring in milk(powdered)...what is the best way to do it.... pwede check in right?  and what if i need an extra during the entire flight?  carry on will be allowed ba?  what about milk sa tetra? 

If the powdered milk needs to be check in, its ok lang... and had it declared na lang...

and what vitamins... may rules ba sila with this...?

I'll be going to new york this sunday. ask ko lang sisses, how many rims of cigarette ba ang allowed? dami kasi nagrequest sakin ng yosi. also, ok lang ba if I bring with me yung hair iron ko? pati na din yung food supplements ko like gse, vit c and ph 338 na gluta, pwede kaya? TIA!

^Hi sis, I was able to bring one rim of Marlboro cigarettes 10 days ago. Hubby said I could bring 2 boxes, but I just don't have enough space on my checked luggage. Wala namang naging problema on security. Yes you can bring your hair iron and supplements, put them all on checked.

hi!  anyone here who have tried thai airways?  mahigpit ba sila sa checked in baggages?  ill be going back to manila and worried ako na baka ma-charge ako for the excess baggage (sarap kasi mamili sa bangkok... hehe!).

i think ang pinakamahigpit na airport ay yung sa australlia kasi nanonood ako ng security border (tv show) pati pagkain bawal magdala even sa check in luggage. hindi rin pede magdala ng mga wooden things saka mga plants etc etc. madami restriction pati may fine pa kapag nahuli ka!

- can i bring small luggage for handcarry (me laptop kc)
- can i bring toilettries , meds, creams sa chekin ?

First Class - 40kgs
Business Class - 30kgs
Economy Class - 20kgs

Handcarry bag for economy usually is 7kgs. For business and first from 10-15kgs.

^Depends on your final destination. The computation is usually 10% of the full fare ticket. Just to give you an example on CX excess baggage rates to Frankfurt is USD40/kg.

BAbyastig, If you have a baby naman. the airline would allow you to bring powdered milk naman provided na di naman buong lata ang dala mo sis. Put it in a  clear container and zip lock it.

Every time you go through a baggage check take it out na para walang hassle.

Sa Europe make sure na even ang distribution ng bagahe mo po para avoid mo yung paglipat ng lipat ng mga gamit from one bag to another.

e.g. is if you have 2 luggage bags.  One is 18kg. and the other one is 22kg.. dapat siya 20/20 talaga. kungdi baka paglipatin ka ng  2kg sa lighter bag.

bulatlat mode ka sa harap ng counter for sure. Stress di ba?

^sis, icorrect lang kita ha. For Europe, Asia and Australia, the free baggage allowance used is the weight system. So it does not matter ilang piraso ang baggage na dala mo as long as within ka sa limit mo. But any single piece even if excess baggage should not be over 32kgs.

For the US and Canada, the free baggage allowance used is the weight system. Allowed ka hanggang 02pieces with each piece not exceeding 23kgs each (economy class). Dito dapat talaga each piece should not exceed yung limit.

^sis, naalala ko tuloy nun first time ko sumakay ng eroplano. mag isa lang ako at PAL din ang sasakyan ko noon tapos going to US pa ko so kamusta talaga. clueless ang beauty ko. buti na lang may mabait akong nasabayan dun.

sis di mo nasabi kung international ang flight mo or domestic. assume ko na international ha:

ganito bale:
1. be ready with your passport and ticket. pagdating mo sa Terminal 2, bago pumasok chinecheck ng guard yun passport at ticket mo pakita mo lang.

2. then pila ka para sa x-ray ng mga bagahe mo. habang nakapila may nagccheck din ng passport at ticket.

3. after ma x-ray ang mga bagahe mo, proceed ka na sa check in counter. tignan mo sa board kung anong counter ka dapat. then economy or business/first class tignan mo rin.

4. sa check in counter, bigay mo passport at tiket mo. kung may PAL mabuhay miles ka, ipresent mo rin para macredit yun miles mo. note mo na sa handcarry mo dapat walang liquid stuffs dun ha. bawal yun sa hand carry. ilagay mo lahat sa checked-in baggage mo para di ka mamroblema. pagkacheck in mo ng mga bagahe mo bibigyan ka ng boarding pass.

5. punta ka sa window kung saan yun bayaran ng terminal fee (750). present mo boarding pass mo at pambayad.

6. fill up ka nun embarkation/disembarkation card.

7. pila ka sa immigration counter. present mo yun ni fill up an mo saka boarding pass at passport. dito nila tatatakan ng departure date ang passport mo.

8. pasok ka na sa boarding area. may x-ray ulit dito. yun mga coins, cp, keys relo, belt, shoes nilalagay sa tray. kaya make sure yun mga coins, cp, keys, watch mo e nasa bag mo na lang para less hassle sa pagtatanggal. yun hand carry mo na bag if meron ix-ray din dito.

9. after ng x-ray, boarding area na yun. hanapin mo kung ano yun gate number mo. sinasabi rin ito sa check in counter pagkaabot sa iyo ng boarding pass. if hindi mo pinansin, check mo na lang ang boarding pass para sa boarding time at gate number.

10. pag nasa boarding gate ka na. upo ka na lang dun. hintay ka hanggang ready for boarding na yun eroplano. o kaya ikot ikot ka muna dun sa kahabaan..bili ng snacks (mahal nga lang) or pamasahe..andun ata sa bandang dulo. pag boarding time na, tatawagin yun according sa seat row number. hintayin mo lang yun turn mo.

sis i have few quoestions po regarding this procedure, does it apply to NAIA 3 also? i'll be flying via cebupac golite for KL this june kasi. first time ko and i'm so afraid to look like a newbie in the airport. i'll be alone pa.

regarding sa check in counter, paano po pag handcarry lang yung dala ko? will they still weigh it? and dadalhin ko pa rin ba yung bag ko until the end of the process or iiwan ko? and also dun sa last xray sinabi po dito na ilagay sa bag yung cp, relos,  etc much better ilagay sa bag, pwede ba yun sa handcarry bag ko na lang ilagay ok lang naman yun diba? hindi ba nila binubuksan yung hand carry?

and also pwede po ba magdala ng shoes sa handcarry? up to ilang shoes po pwede? kasi going to KL may dala akong isang pair ng shoes na pinapabili sakin. going back here in PH baka may 2 pairs akong dala na since plan ko magshop dun, pwede kaya yun sa handcarry? hindi ko na ba yun kailangan i-declare? and also yung cigarettes gaano po kadami pwede? pwede po ba isang rim?

last na po, i'm currently on isotretinoin, and i need to bring mga 12 tabs ng acnetrex with me pwede po ba yun ilagay sa handcarry?

^sis sa T3 basically the same set up as T1 and T2 dahil isang authority (MIAA) lang naman nagpapalakad ng airports sa Manila. Before you enter T3, you will have to go through a guard who will check your ticket and ID. Then proceed ka sa first xray machine. Put everything in there, your bag and handcarry etc. Dapat walang metallic stuff i.e. coins, cellphone on you, lagay mo lahat sa bag mo.
Then after entering the terminal, look na for the international counter. Don't worry maliit lang yung lugar, di ka mawawala. There are signages and info counters you can check with.

At the check-in counter, if they see maliit lang handcarry mo they won't bother to weigh it. But pag medyo malaki, they'll ask to check the weight. Hanggang 7kgs lang handcarry limit. But sometimes medyo mabait yung check-in staff pumapayag na pag medyo lagpas ng konti. Oh by the way, bayad ka muna ng travel tax sa travel tax counter also inside the terminal (if you bought your ticket online). The TT certificate will be given to the check-in staff.

After check in, proceed na to the airport tax counter where you will give your boarding pass para madikitan ng airport tax receipt. After paying, the airport tax staff will give you back your boarding pass. Proceed ka na sa immigration counters. After immig there will be a final security/xray check. Get a tray for your stuff. Same thing put everything i.e. cellphone, watch, belt, etc inside your bag para di nakakalat. Take your shoes off put them in the tray and slide them in the xray.

After the final security check all you have to do now is look for your boarding gate and wait for your flight.

^You can put anything in your handcarry and limited amounts of liquids and gels. Yung shoes mo pwede, 1 rim of cigarettes allowed ka. Basta wag ka lang lalagpas sa weight limit ng golite which is 7kgs.

Sa immigration stamp naman, the Phil. immig officers have to do that kasi yan din ang titingnan ng immig officers at your destination kung saan ka ba talaga nanggaling.
