Try to inquire at UP Diliman if they conduct violin lessons. May alam ako sa Las Piñas pero Im not sure kung from the South kayo.. Sa Bamboo Organ church...

Piano and most especially violin!!!

Piano, I can play a little, but violin as in ZERO pa! I don't intend naman to be really good in playing these instruments, but I intend to be able to play (beautifully or at least katanggap-tanggap. Hehe..) my favorite musical pieces on both instruments.

Hay, I really have to do something with re to my time. Dami ko kasing dapat gawin at gustong gawin at gustong matutunan. Kaya iniisa-isa ko. Hayz.. To think na may tito akong professor ng violin sa UP Diliman, may isa rin akong tita na nagtuturo rin ng violin sa St. Scho at may isang side ng clan namin na halos lahat ng pinsan ko marunong mag-violin kahit bata. Napakalapit ng opportunities to learn. As in tuwing reunions, tumutugtog sila na parang mini-"orchestra" while yung side namin either dance or drama 'este' comedy show pala ang ginagawa. Sabi nga namin sila yung "cultured" side of the family while kami naman yung jologs. Hehe!

ako nagtake up ng violin lessons nung bata pa ako. instructor was a member of san miguel philharmonic orchestra or manila philharmonic orchestra ata. gusto ko nga ulit mag-aral eh. i remember sobrang sarap mag-aral ng violin kase di siya common like guitar or piano, kaya mas curious mga tao. mas may yabang factor ba? (sensya na, bata pa kase ako nun eh)

I used to play the piano when I was a kid, and the violin in high school til college.  I was even a part of Chamber Ensemble during my DLSU days. I miss playing the violin even though I'm not really good at it. It's haaaaard.  And I want to enroll in lessons again, though I don't know where the best place would be (I need a strict teacher! I learned faster when I was part of an ensemble because there were standards to keep up with).

I first learned violin from Yamaha (3Rs) School of Music.  It was good for the basics, but since I was in high school then, I took the lessons for granted and didn't practice much.  Kung gusto mo talaga matuto, you should join a club/group/org like I did in college (meron parin naman post college nun) kasi dun talaga ako nahasa, playing in an ensemble.  Now, gusto ko bumalik sa violin after being on a break for more than 3 years already.  Gusto ko yung strict, haha!  Sabi nila okay daw sa St. Scho.  UP is too far for me.  Any thoughts?

I really want to learn how to play and know more info about guitars. A lot of my friends have bands and I'm having a hard time conversing with them about it. Haha. At least may super konti akong alam about effects. Haha.

One time, my friend told me he has a problem: GAS. I told him ew. Haha. Gear acquisition syndrome pala! Hehe.
