*Yes. Less Chismis, Pakialamero. Join the Filipino community and balik sa dati! hahah imho, for a lot of us, its in our blood.
*Cleaner Environment.
*Hindi stressful sa pag commute or drive.
*Walang pila pila sa mga Clearances. Puro by Mail na lang at mabilis pa.
*Kung may pila, sandali lang. Walang singgit, nagkakahiyaan pa.
*Paying of bills is easy. madaming methods. at most often madali mag reklamo.unlike sa pinas, maraming bastos na CSRs. pag local calls eh kaya nila mambastos bastos pero pag ibang bansa ang tumawag, in general, hindi naman sila makapalag.
*Madaling makipag usap to those in authority. As long as may valid point ka, and respectful ang approach, things will move. Hindi ka tatarayan. Unlike sa atin, lambingin mo si Ate. Sungitan ka!
*People are most often willing to help. Courteous, Respectful etc. Malayo ka pa lang sa elevator, hintayin ka nila.
*It's easier to cook western food kasi readily available halos lahat ng nakasulat sa recipe.
*easier to focus on your personal and family goals.
*Less national level politics and less office politics.
*masarap mag online shopping. from where i'm at, anything $1000 and below is considered tax free. Unlike sa atin, kaliit na bagay itax pa; kung makursunadahan, say good bye!
*since we're already living in an abundant world, there are less "utilitarian" people/friends. a lot of people still have values kasi hindi sila kapit patalim. maaaring may low income, pero meet naman nila ang needs at may pang wants. Yun nga lang tuwing uuwi ka sa Pinas,may mga gustong magpatukso.
*madali lang bumoto.Results in one day.
*hindi magulo/marumi ang campaigning.
*for those who love buying things but a little tight on cash, there are many payment methods available, if you really really want something.
*if you have good credit history...you know...
*walang manlolokong mekaniko.madedemanda mo kasi sila.
*Religious freedom!!!! actually, pag magkaiba na ang religion, hindi na pinapatagal ang usapan at debate.walang ilangan. to most people, religion is treated like an opinion. unless ikakasal na kayo and the like. but ika nga "no dramas." walang gaanong knock on you door, may we read or invite you to our group.
*from where i am at, pag may incident vs pulis or military. both sides iniimbestigahan. May tinaser ang pulis at nasa lugar naman ang pulis...iimbestigahan pa din ang pulis to make sure walang foul play.
*ang lubak sa kalsada, inaayos agad. pwede mademanda ang official(s) responsible ng negligence! they have a duty of care kasi diba!
*roadworks are announced months ahead (maglalagay pa sila ng signs sa road to remind you) including detour directions. at walang "this project is made possible by Politician X"
*magsignal /indicator light ka, almost automatic, pagbibigyan ka ng ibang cars
*tumapak lang ang isang paa ng tao sa kalsada. babagal ang takbo ng sasakyan, inaanticipate na tatawid ka. at titigil sila kamo kahit ang titigilan nila eh akward spot.
