Falling for a much Older Guy!
« on: October 13, 2008, 04:47:59 pm »
i dont know why i'm really attracted to much older guy... i find  them very appealing...

the first one was 5 years older than me....
then next, which is my present boyfriend is 7 years older,,, then now,,, since wala si bf (nasa barko), na-aattract na naman ako which is 15 years ang gap namin.hay....

malakas ang sex appeal... and the funny thing is i fantasize him... he's single naman and kinikindatan nya ako kapag nagkakatitigan kami.hay grabe... hehe

i'm just afraid, baka mas matanda pa yung matipuhan ko.hahaha

^ Like you, I prefer older men. Never ako nagkaron ng relationship na ka-age ko or younger than me. Mas nakakajive ko kasi pag mas responsible and mature na mag-isip. I had a boyfriend na 8 years my senior. Then, I had flings with men na 9 to 20 years older.

^ Same here... hanggang same age to 3 years older lang sa akin yung type ko. Otherwise, wag na lang.

Like me and my hubby, we share the same passion for life kasi 2 years older lang siya sa akin.  :)

We tried skydiving once.  :)

Di ako pwede kung yong guy is masyadong staid. I need someone who can keep up with me and still be financially able to support me. I don't think kaya pa mag-skydive ng guy if he's like 50.  ;D

same here. My hubby is 6 yrs older than me. Before i use to date guys my age pero no appeal sakin. even if my friends would say na cute daw [textspeak!] guy or even handsome and nice but for me wala talaga. Then when i met my hubby, and honestly even if some would say that he really looks older than me na parang older brother ko na but still i fall for him.Sobrang lakas ng appeal nia for me.. hehe ;D

Yes, that's what is important -- as Sis BZMOM has pointed out.  So that should it go beyond the flirting/just-playing-footsies stage -- you will not be crying your eyes out and saying:  "It's complicated!"

Okay, assuming we are talking of single/unattached definitely not-gay older men -- well, they do have their charms and advantages.  More emotionally and financially secure,  more serious with relationships they decide to develop, etc.  BUT  they may also be set in their ways.

Kasi ganito yan eh -- at 1st you like that he babies you, takes care of you, knows how to make diskarte almost everything --  para kang princess.  But eventually the princess wants to make her own choices, has her own preferences, even friends,  wants to have her own career --  the older guy may not attach importance to these.  Ma frustrate si princess.  :)

i was never after the looks.. gusto kong lalake.. MAS sa akin.. mas mahal ako.. mas matalino.. mas settled.. mas matanda... ( shucks.. daming yummy consultants sa hospital too bad im already taken)

there are two kinds of older man who seeks younger woman.. i think one is for fun/ past time and one that is looking for a longer long lasting relationship.. nasa iyo yun if you can accept the fact that he will get old years before you do.. the fact that he might die earlier before you is also inevitable...yun lang naman ang draw back sa akin.. kasi selfish nga ako.. gusto ko ako ang aalagaan.. nwa one thing good about this older guy... they really know how to pamper you...

dont always assume na dahil mas matanda sila mas mature sila.. youll be surprise to find out that they can be more childish than you at some times.. possesive.. insecure etc... you just have to find the right chemistry

Btw i dont consider 5 years the "older guy" ang older guy sa akin at least 8 years older... LOL and yup they are so yummy nga

older guys have always been my preference. one of my ex's is 15 years older, another a gap of 10 years. i was never into guys my age, more so younger guys. maybe because i cannot take their immaturity. marami ngang nagsasabi matagal bago mag-mature ang guys. (and maybe partly 'coz i have daddy issues, LOL ;D)

and yeah, older guys are yummy! haha!

anyway, the guy i'm with right now is around some two months' younger. when we met and i knew i was older, it was an automatic "no," if you get what i mean. but i was impressed that he didn't let himself be intimidated, like other guys usually do. parang kinakain ko na tuloy yun ibang mga sinasabi ko before. :P

^aquacharly, agree with you on the princess metaphor. ;)

girls, here's a nice read from a feminist blog, Jezebel.com on Why Am I Supposed To Date Older Men, Again? :)

yeah, it's written by an American woman and perhaps we're still by far a lot different from then. but the author makes a lot of good points i just had to agree.

VIXEN 19 and Sis AVESORIANO -- yes I agree!  most mature men (for me the cut-off point is min 10 yrs older) -- are yummy.

Actually 2 kinds of mature men lang yan -- the yummy (kalaglag panty type) or knight-in-shining-armour type vs the dirty-old-man/I-do-not-talk-to-strangers/you-make-my-skin-crawl type.  LOL

The yummy ones --  maybe their advantage over the younger-aged yummy ones is because they "try harder" (lalo na pag may asawa -- early warning trait yan, girls!)

And oo nga bakit ba Sis AVESORIANO -- daming yummy older consultants sa hospitals ngayon?  When my husband was confined last month -- I had to keep myself from going beyond flirting with a couple!  Susmaryosep!!!   Girls, I am referring to The Medical City -- do not bother with Cardinal Santos.  LOL

what i just noticed.. madali mapansin ang age gap kapag the girl is less than 20 years old.. but when the girl starts to be 25 years old or more.. the age difference kahit 15 years pa yan... medyo di na napapansin... girls mature well. and even earlier then men....

hay naku can i just say... yummy pa rin... :)

yes its true older men like to pamper us like princesses.. but in reality.. the reason why they  cling to us is because they want to be valued... they want to be taken care of.. they want to be kings...

my first boyfriend is almost my age, just 1 year gap.  when it did not work, i told myself to maybe look for a more mature guy. so there, 8 years gap was my 2nd.  gaya nga ng sabi ng mga sis natin, yummy nga talaga. hehe.  felt like a princess especially after my first relationship.  mas financially stable and mas may effort to make you feel special.  kaya lang ang drawback, mas career-minded din so he left and moved to the US for an IT work-related offer.  LDR doesn't work for me so the relationship ended.

i had another relationship after that.. 4 years younger naman. no comment. nagwala lang ako nito. lol.

since na-try ko na almost lahat ng age difference, i still prefer an older guy but maybe not more than 5 years nga.  my bf now is 2 years older than me and i should say our relationship is almost perfect.  ;)

i used to date a guy 7 years older than me, actually, hindi ko pansin sa face na he looks older, friends ko pa nagsabi, pero sobrang ma-appeal talaga for me. I also don't like guys na ka-age ko or younger, i hate immature guys kasi.

Siguro I like their image of being confidence, mature and marunong na sa buhay
