I'm a WAHM, we have a yaya for my baby and we live with my in laws. kaya naman siguro walang HH or yaya if I'm not working kaso time consuming kasi yun work ko kahit madali. honestly, I'm starting to hate HH and yayas, ansakit nila sa ulo! puro mga pakilamera saka pala-sagot!

Yup.

Yes, kayang kaya! I also grew up with household help pero turing namin sa kanila part of the family, mga ate kumbaga. when i had my 1st baby, super takot ako kasi first so i really, really, really needed a yaya. okey naman yung 1st experience ko as an employer, nakatapos ng vocational course si yaya cum ate kaya naturuan si baby yun nga lang pati excessive tv watching nakuha. then the problem started kasi gusto na ni yaya magwork sa hospital bilang midwife. the series of yayas started and the horror stories, iba't ibang mga personalilities, kaartehan, kadramahan, kautangan, etc, etc, etc. kaya one day after this one yaya ditched us without any advice, ang sabi lang day off hindi na bumalik eh ayoko na. medyo malaki naman na anak ko, i can and will manage. mas kampante pa ako sa linis ko dahil kailaliman at kasulok sulukan eh nililinis ko... yun nga lang ngarag kasi after work linis, ayos ng bahay, wash dishes, etc. walang day off kasi during day off sa office, full day naman sa bahay to clean, cook, etc.

It's been 3 weeks since our maid left, and it's just the yaya and I.

I know, technically I still have help, but I don't expect my yaya to help out much since her job is to look after my daughter (I know some yayas don't want to be all around help). I've gotten kind of used to it. I cook my meals during the weekend and freeze them. During the week I just pull them out. If hubby is not having dinner at home, I usually have a sandwich and just fry up fish for yaya.

We have a washing machine so it's pretty straight forward. House clothes, I fold while watching TV. My yaya helps to wash dishes after I've cooked and sweep the floor. I have a swifter and use Clorox wipes to clean the floors.

I do have my mom's maid come in 2 days a week for the days when I need to be at the office, just so it's not just my yaya left at home with my daughter.

Honestly I'm getting used to it - the house isn't as clean as it used to be, but we make do. The new maid is arriving Thursday, I'm hoping she works out

Kinakaya pa rin. My husband and I moved to a much bigger house. Mahirap i-maintain.

:) Pero now as a work-from-home mom, parang hindi ko kakayanin. ;D

Sometimes I am tempted to get one just to get some of our errands done. Ngayon wala kami HH. Pero me and my hubby agree na ayaw namin kumuha ng stay in kasi may baby kami at gamit.

Kaso di pa ako nakatagpo ng mabuting helper kaya madami ako mga bad kwento about them. As od now jobless ako di pa ko makapag work kasi di pa ako makakuha ng maid kaya ang hirap talaga.

Maraming bad people ngayon... grabe noh,

It's been a month sis our helper left. Kaya naman so far. Pero it ticks me pag ngkakalat hubby ko. I can
clean but I cannot clean after someone. We're looking for a helper now. I hope to find one before my husband
arrives from the states in a couple of weeks.

kayang-kaya 2 lang naman kame sa house, hubby and me. lumaki naman kame both na walang katulong so medyo sanay kame sa house works. minsan lang nakakatamad since we're both working minsan pagod nakakatamad pag weekend maglilinis pa. don't like talaga plantsa, meron kase kame taga-plantsa ng uniform nun bata kame so di ako natuto and hate ko den talaga yun so ang ending downy nalang. laba madali lang naman since both office work naman di masyado madumi yun damit kaya na ng washing machine. dami ko den kase nabasa dito sa GT horror stories about maids na abusado, maaasar lang ako pag pasaway nakuha ko.

Ehh kasi.

If I live by myself, I'm sure kaya naman. Since I'm 18 and living with my mom and siblings, I doubt kaya. It'll be hard, but I know I can do it. (I think)

A BIG YES. I grew up with an all around maid lang and of course, we have to learn to do stuff kasi I grew up na ang kasambahay, "helper"lang, hindi sila lahat gagawa kasi imossibe nga naman kayanin niya lahat. At least yun turo ng mama ko. 3 kami and I'm the eldest and only girl.Lahat kami natuto gumawa ng gawaing bahay.I live in Aussie and I don't have a maid ;D

I have 2 kids - eldest is 5y/o and youngest is 2y/o. Ngayon syempre need ko ng helper since full time ako sa work, but soon, full time mom na uli ako. Kung chores lang, I think kaya ng wala, since malaki na si bunso, and the kids help me naman in some ways.

I can live without a helper, but not without a driver.

Our helper took a short vacation last week (God knows when he'll be back), but we're still holding it together. Took a few days to adjust to a life without anyone doing the chores for us, but we managed to survive. ;D

And recently, our driver informed us that he has to leave for the province this Sunday because he has to enroll his college-level daughter. But he also told us he'll only be away for a week. I just don't know if he'll stay true to his word. But still, I just can't imagine a life without a driver. How will we survive the week? Sigh.  :'(

Pero inaayos ko yung plano ko to be a WAHM, naiisip ko paano kaya yun? Alagain pa yung anak ko eh, sana kayanin. Ayaw ko na mag Yaya talaga muna. Nakakatrauma.

growing up, we've always had HH (stay in) and labanderas ( once or twice a week) . . it was hard for me when our HH for 5 years left to retire . . but I was able to cope  . . I limited my lakwatsyas, coordinated more with my family sa mga house stuff . . . so at a certain point, not having HH got us closer sa family . .

Now,  I'm a single mom of a 6 yo boy, living w/ my parents, bro & couz . . Not having HH is not an option . . We need 2 actually . . 1 for d house stuff the other for my son . .

with our household set-up super hirap walang help . . both my parents are still working so as my bro & couz . .

We just have my son's yaya since Jan of this year . . who doubles up as an all around . .
with my work sched, I sacrifice sleep to tend to my sons needs . . He has summer school, so i bring and pick him up (commute lang kami-so gastos is also an issue) but this coming mid June, we really need to add another help . .

I dont know pano I prioritize and plan daily activities namin sa family w/out sacrificing work stuff . .

I grew up in a household where i was raised by my mom and my auntie as a help while my dad was abroad. Pero different na ngayon, i'm living with my hubby right now and kaya naman namen wala help kahit busy ako sa school at sya naman sa work. Although having a cook is not a bad idea hehe; hindi kasi ako expert sa ganyan. Si hubby oo the best mgluto; but for those days na hindi sya mkaluto at busy naman si ako, a helper cook would be much appreciated. :D

Kaya naman, basta distrubuted yung chores. Pero minsan pag natatambak yung chores we call a lavandera.

Mahirap, pero kaya naman. I send out our clothes for pressing (I do the laundry, madali lang naman with an automatic washing machine). I also ask my preschooler to help with some chores. Dati sabi ko OK lang walang katulong, basta may driver dahil I could send him to do errands.

You can if kids are older like they are in school. So I'm excited when school starts even if I will not have a fulltime helper ( we are sending our yaya as a regular student). So at least at night, the yaya is here and before she goes to school she can prepare the breakfast and help me with the kids to school.

Weekends, that's the time I can focus on my freelance writing. Adjust lang talaga pero mahirap especially if the kids are still babies.

I'm so tired of helpers na pasaway, baka may effects pa sa mga bata.
