Bed sheets/Linens

if you have relatives in the US who has Costco membership, there is a lot of plain bedsheets there. I have seen white ones in their in-house brand - Kirkland. Even at Walmart or Target you can find plain white sheets/bedding.

Mga sis, I plan to buy a new mattress kasi. Based sa experience nyo, ano mas madaling bilhan ng (around 300 thread count na) fitted sheets, bed linens, etc. yung semidouble (48"x75") or full (54"x75")? tia

Sis Tia. Stick to the standard measurements. The regular standard single, full, queen and king. Yun mga semi double not sure. Best you go to the mall and check what's avail. Check also the thickness of the mattress. I know only the brand ULTIma can accommodate mga 8 inches and more.

I seem to have an obsession with linens/bedsheets. I can't stop myself from buying them. I have more than 20 already and disposing (giving to my family, rather) them after 2 or 3 yrs to make way for new linens. I really like the feel of new linens and it makes me more interested in sleeping if they look new. I even buy them even if I still have a couple that I haven't opened yet because my linens cabinet is already full. Help!

I love soft and cottony bedsheets (who doesn't?) and I have purchased really nice pieces from HMR. Last year, I discovered Taytay tiangge and it's like manna from heaven. I have been hoarding on real nice, soft and cottony bedsheets and pillow cases ever since. Very close to hotel quality. My suki sellers are there during weekends only.

Tska yung makapal din sana na mattress topper, yung parang sa hotel na lulubog ka sa lambot. Ang hirap maghanap dito

^^Ive tried rustans alabang, sm southmall and megamall.. ill try shang as suggested by sis meimei pero di ba parehas lang stocks ng lahat ng rustans? I asked the sales person  sabi never daw nagkaroon sa size na yun except yung mattress topper na memory foam whoch i dont like kasi mainit sa katawan

Sis kinkytinch, the bedsheets in taytay are not ukay, locally made by residents there. Taytay is the garments capital of the Philippines is I am not mistaken. I buy queen size and single bedsheets. Queen size, fitted sheet is P300, pillows P25 each. Single is P180. They call their material korean cotton. And yes malayo nga ang taytay but sulit naman. Best regards!

^if your wm is a front-loader and has a big drum, it can handle duvet washing as long as it is in gentle cycle mode. if the filler is authentic down, don't use harsh laundry liquid or powder detergent as this may chemically break down the down or feather fillers. use woolite detergent or hair shampoo. then tumble dry it. air fluff afterwards to avoid clumping.

Sis mommyfirst, where in Taytay do you buy your linens and pillowcases? I am so intrigued sa place na yan kasi even yun clothes na tinitinda ngayon online or sa tiangge, doon yata nila pinapatahi. Kaya no need to go to BKK to go clothes shopping.
