Bed sheets/Linens

Hi,

I usually buy from department stores, but napapangitan na ako sa kanila after few washes either sobra tigas, nipis or himulmol na ang cloth. Especially crib sheets! Parang nilagyan ng gawgaw sa tigas.
I started buying from subic and clark mga 4ooTC fitted sheets, also from Aussino only when they have mark down sale!

any good brands of bed sheets and linens you can find in the department stores?
Or any good brand from the US? para pabili na lang ako dun, my tita from US told me ang mumura daw ng sheets dun and it's not bulky naman because i only want the fitted sheets and pillow cases, not the comforter and duvet.

i got one set of bedsheets from SM, brand i think is Family Home and I've been happy with it. The material is soft, i think the TC is at least 200. and since i like it a lot, i use it often. ok pa rin. i got pillowcases also from Ultima, TC 200 and up and ok din until now.
but if you want to buy from the US, there are several brands like Ralph Lauren, Martha Stewart, Laura Ashely. personally, i just check the TC (and design) regardless of brand.

Thanks. I was able to buy 300tc martha stewart pillowcases at Subic. $3.50/pair! And it's so nice ang lambot. But I didn't see bed sheets, puro pillow case sheets lang.

i also like the family home brand available at SM department stores.

their regular stuff are 180TC lang but they have up to 350 yata, not sure basta over 300. i only have a set of this because it's available only in plain colors. the rest of my family home sets are the 200+. i don't get the 180TC ones kasi matigas. and i always buy as a set then just get extra pillowcases as needed. i like their designs kasi mix and match.

i also have some ralph lauren sets that we got as wedding gifts. i think these are 250TC.

but i also don't care much for the brand basta i like the design and ok naman ang TC and price.

Most of our bedlinen and bedspreads were from Laura Ashley.  Aside from the quality, I love their soft hues and dreamy designs.  I can't resist bringing something home whenever I set foot on that store.  They always have matching patterns on different items.  Quilt Covers, Blankets, Fitted Sheets, Cushions...you'd feel like wanting to have every single item for your own room!  

I also have a few pieces from Sheridan.  And for the single bed in the Guest Room, I just stock up on Ikea's.  I noticed that Ikea's got more interesting designs on their Single size than the rest, plus they're cheap!

if you want also beddings na parang pang hotel, i think rustans came out with something like that. but i'm assuming it's expensive.

I don't really look at the brand I just look at the TC if its 250 and up and I like the design and price, I'll buy it.

sa S&R sis meron din imported bed sheets kaka sale lang nila so Buy1Take1 sila sa lahat ng beds sheet set bali 250TC yun set na 1,499 so dalawang ser na yung pumapatak 750 isa.. mura na ba yun bumili kasi kami.. sis magkano mga bed sheets sa subic? mura yung martha stewart na pillow case ha.. like ko sana pumunta dun kaso ang layo eh

^Sa Clark Pampanga before I bought 400tc $48 (fitted,flat,2 pillowcases). While at Subic I bought 300tc $9(fitted sheet or flat sheet)

thanks sis! hindi ko alam na kinoconsider din pla yun sa pagpili ng bed sheets and linens..hehe! new wifey lang kasi ako..kami rin may naggift smen nung wedding namin ng bedsheets pero mukhang mumurahin lang..hehe! pero comfy naman..ako bumibili lang ako sa tabi tabi..250php lang,, balak ko rin bumili ng medyo mahal kasi i do believe na pag mahal for sure matibay yun at long lasting..

For me I prefer the brand Town &Country, basta mahalaga na mataas ang TC.

ako ngayon ko lang nalaman yung mga Thread Count na yan kaya nung nag sale sa S&R talagang bumili kami ni hubby.. di ko kasi alam yung TC na yan pero nung single pa ako alam ko yung bed sheet ko maganda and madulas walang himolmol.. pag mumurahin kasi madaling maghimolmol.. so nung nag asawa na ako meron si hubby bed sheet kaso siguro sa sobrang tagal na naghihimolmol na so search ako ng magandang bed sheet sa internet yun nalaman ko may mga TC pa pala .. kya yun..

^last week bumili ako sa SM department store naka-sale yun Family Home yun set na (fitted sheet, 2 pillowcases, 1 flatsheet) for 1,100.  i think 50% discount ata yun.

My hubby is so maarte with regards to bed sheets, he wants 200+tc only, I ended up buying din sa Family Home, I have one, Akemi brand, ok din naman.
