Chinese Schools (preschool,primary and HS)

Any feedback or opinion please re a little-known Chinese school in Quezon City. MQA English-Chinese School of Quezon City.

All the info I have came from online literature about the school. I haven't met anyone who sends their child to this school:

Among the info I was able to gather online are:
- Founded in 1999. It is located along Commonwealth Ave, Quezon city.
- Non-sectarian school with three departments: Pre-school, Elementary & High School.
- Safe, clean, and caring environment friendly campus.
- Low pupil-teacher ratio especially in lower grades.
 - Air-conditioned classrooms.
 - Chinese Language Instruction in all levels.
 - Computer instruction in all levels.
 - With emphasis on academic and value excellence.
 - Competent/efficient, warm & nurturing teachers (70% of them have Masters Units) and staff.
 - Extra-curricular activities to fully develop your child’s personality.
 - Now under licence with NSW AMES of Australia to provide their complete range of English language products and services – from curriculum design, online English courses through to its extensive range of resource materials.

Info sounds encouraging but I think it is also very important for me to hear an unbiased opinion. I hope you can help me out as I am looking for any "hidden gem" of a school out there which I could consider as another option for my 8-year old child.

^ I think St. Peter is better than Lorenzo Riuz. During my time, 2-3 lang sa batch nila nakapasok ng ADMU/DLSU.

walking distance lang kasi ang Lorenzo Ruiz Academy at Philippine Tiong Se Academy

choice for my daughter

1. Lorenzo Ruiz Academy - nearest
2. Chiang Kai Shek College - ok ang chinese lessons ?
3. Uno - ok ang english/chinese pero mahirap daw?
4. Philippine Tiong Se Academy - near din, marami daw chut-si-ya?

di puede ang st. peter the apostle sa may quirino ave extension pa ito, right?

ay sorry, i got confused dun sa 1 post about St. Peter naman. For me, Uno is better than CKCS. It is hard but the graduates are better and can get to better universities. Lorenzo isn't good at all for me. Best to visit each school and check how it is

Merry angels ok ang turo... After grad ng nursery sure pasok s uno, st jude, ica at xavier at marami pa ko kilala na may honor sa st jude na galing merry angels.

Merry Angels is founded by retired Chinese teachers from St. Jude, their education is based on St. Jude foundations, so their products can pass reputable Chinese schools in the Metro. One of the complaints I hear from this particular school is the "solicitations" though.

My niece was enrolled at merry angels from june to october of this year as pre nursery student. 40k ang tuition fee for 1 sem half day only. Kaya lang hindi niya rin tinapos hanggan september lang siya kasi ayaw na pumasok since july palang natrauma daw sa teAcher and yaya dun pinalo daw siya and ang higpit daw maghawak ng yaya dun. Pinilit lang ng cousin ko na patapusin sana this sem kasi sayang tuition kahit mag sit in siya dun everyday para mabantayan anak niya kaso ayaw na talaga ng bata laging umiiyak.

^first time ko rin makarinig ng ganung feedback about them sis. Dati kasi puro positive feedback lahat. Yung cousin ko nakapag sit in talaga sa class for 2 weeks kaya dun daw niya nakita lahat ng mga negative. True daw na ang higpit maghawak ng mga yaya dun lalo na pag makulit or malikot yung bata. Yung palo siyempre hindi naman ipapakita sa kanya yun.

iyon nga di puro magaganda feedback naririnig ko sa merry angels...buti nalang sis sinabi mo saakin na ganoon na nga....

hindi ba pinuna ng cousin mo na mahigpit maghawak ang mga yaya doon? para naman aware iyong school....

^sinabi niya sis. Pero siyempre ang ending kampihAn. Nakikita naman ng teachers eh but they don't do anything about it.
My daughter is a senior nursery student in chiang kai shek college. She just loves going to school. Minsan pag weekends gusto parin niya pumasok. I'm also proud to say that she's doing good in school.
