Wala yatang Chinese schools in Antipolo, I mean none that I know of.

Okay lang ba kung mag chinese school kahit na pure filipino kami, as in nobody can speak and understand chinese sa min? [textspeak!] do u think mga sis? Iba kasi ang quality ng education sa mga chinese school, and most private schools naman are catholic schools, eh hindi kami catholic... Baka malito ang anak ko when it comes to religion. Kaya i prefer chinese school sana kasi gmrc lang at walang religion class.

^not all chinese schools walang religion class FYI... ICA/Xavier meron if im not mistaken. sshs & jubilee meron rin. and i dont see anything wrong kung ipapachinese school mo anak mo. one edge na nakikita ko sa chinese school is the exposure of the child in another language (mandarin/hokkien), and mas okay ang math but then i don't think this rule applies to all kasi depends rin if the child will take school seriously

Yup, okay lang, siguro dagdag mo nalang sa budget mo yung tutor expense, kasi sa pinapasukan naming school ganun eh, pero kahit filipino o chinese madaming nagpapa tutor =P

Depende siguro on what you're looking for or what do you prefer for your child.  Mother Goose and St. Mark's are both on the traditional side (teaching method).  Mother Goose has good Chinese and talagang medyo aral na talaga.  Tuition fee if I'm not mistaken is almost P100k na.

My twins are currently in Cambridge, my eldest was also a product of Cambridge.  At that time, super ok ng Cambridge kaya I also enrolled my twins there.  My eldest really enjoyed her time there and you could really see her thriving.  But now I'm not that satisfied na with the school.  Quality is not the same anymore plus madalas na ring nagpapalit ng teachers and I personally feel na parang di na ok yung students-teacher ratio.  Tuition fee is around P80k inclusive of food and some activities.  We initially plan to change pre-school but medyo kinapos kami sa pagschool hunting.

IMO, better go for a trial class or visit the schools para you can also and observe the school and teachers for yourselves.

^Sis Cherrys, saan branch ka ng Cambridge?  Kasi sa binondo ganyan din, yung eldest ko duon, okay naman pero sa next hindi na, palit kasi ng palit ng teacher eh

^Banawe kami.  Ah, ganun din ba dun?  Akala ko yung directress lang dito ang medyo nagkakaproblema.    Nakakalungkot nga eh.  Even yung Chinese lessons nga disappointing din kasi isa lang teacher for all levels so pare-pareho lang tinuturo.

Baka ganyan nga halos lahat ng branch, sayang naman, hindi nila na maintain yung reputation nila.

^Pero ang alam ko iba-iba naman nagpapatakbo niyan eh, franchise yata.  kaso yun nga sayang at talagang di na ganun kaganda ngayon, ang mahal pa naman ng tuition fee nila.  Di lang din kasi kami nakahanap ng lilipatan kaya dun pa din muna twins namin.

pero inisip ko nalang bata pa kasi, pag nasa n2 kasi sila mas okay, sana lang mas mabilis nilang na up ng level para hindi ako nagsayang ng oras.

you can try calling Xavier School trunkline to inquire. I know they start accepting August like ICA.

You might want to check also their grade level, I heard kasi from my son they will change level of the kids, no acceptance for nursery anymore - kinder na raw. (confirm mo lang)

for this school year kasi, admission started from August 2-31, 2010 last day september 11,2010.

application fee is Php 800 + Php 200 for hearing test

I enrolled my youngest son in Wisdom Light Christian Academy last June2011. Actually the main reas
on i considered that school is bec it's near our place. Aside from that i also heard a couple or so peop
le giving positive feedback re the school. So i thought why not try this school? was surprised to find
out that super ok pala sya. The teachers all are good speakers, the pricipal is very accommodating.
Small school [textspeak!] sya kaya yun student ratio nya maliit lang din. Yun curriculum nila is one year advance compared toother schools.
My two elder children went to mother goose before but when i learned of their tuition nw medyo 
na turned off na ako. christian school din sya. tuition is around 70t. so far am satisfied here. will
definitely enroll him here agn next yr

Gabrielle: so nice and accomodating talaga the directress of wisdom, she really takes time to talk to parents inquiring and even calling mo for follow up trials, we inquired din here and did trial class, di ko lang pursue kase di ko nagustuhan teacher natakot kid ko anglaking tao kase at ang laki ng boses, para syang lady joel cruz hehe
